Let me show you how paper scraps work like magic for this easy handmade card! This herringbone technique is fun and a creative card design too!
One of my favorite things about paper scraps cards is that there are no rules. Card making, even for beginners, can include the ease of scraps to create beautiful patterns.
Stampin' Up!'s Playing with Patterns Designer Papers embody bold geometric patterns. But don't stop there. This technique looks amazing with pastels and florals alike. Give this herringbone card technique a try and fall in love with using up those paper scraps!

The yellow is cheerful and happy, but the light blue one is more festive and would make a great birthday card, perfect combo of colors which complement each other

I love both cards! Each unique with the different DSP chosen. The first card is striking with the colors chosen. The second card is more playful!

I was fascinated by how easy you made this herringbone card and HAD to make one immediately. I cut 2 backs and a few extra strips to make two card backs while I was at it. Followed your instructions for the first one then played around with the leftovers for my second card. Both are GREAT! Your teaching techniques are always right on and easy to follow.
