One thing that I like about the wither is it’s subtle quest line. You learn about it from a painting or a wither chiselled block I think minecraft needs more quests like this from a past civilisations but also quests from villagers using the trading ui, for example you have to trade in a completed map for emeralds to a cartographer, or bringing back a unique drop from a mansion. This will allow you to climb up a ladder with a villager but also your quest completion will gain you karma in the village making trades better, but you can do the opposite and abandon a quest and get negative karma for the local iron golem to hunt you down (like if your wanted) and trades will be shockingly bad.
Nah brah I learned about the wither through a friend who likely learned of it through a yt video
@@ihatehandles69420 external sources do have a part to play yeh but I’m on about in game hints, subtle pointers towards a bigger goal. For example playing through legend of Zelda while watching a video of the game and not solving a puzzle yourself defeats the puzzle aspect so I won’t be counting it as it’s not in-game
@@MrMycotic there is no possible way anyone found out about the wither by looking at that sandstone art. I think it's cool subtle world building for minecraft but it has no use for 99% of players.
@@ihatehandles69420 I’m not arguing that I agree, I’m just looking at it from a designer perspective, like it could be a great use for pottery like 99% of pottery could be world building but 1% in the correct order could give hidden quests sure no one would find it with the amount of combinations but it’s great for building upon a world that feels barren
@@MrMycotic my bad bro I didn't need to be rude but I was anyway.

Honestly the hardest quest is trying to finding blaze rods in peaceful so you can make potions.
Dude that’s not hard, it’s literally impossible!
the most difficult quest: finding 3 sheeps on day 0 before sunset
Getting eyes of ender in peaceful.
You don't need enchantments to go after the dragon, but you do need access to the end ... how do you manage without the eyes?
@@key_bounce you don’t. Unless you have a one in a trillion seed where the portal spawns in activated, you can’t go to the end in peaceful.
You have inspired me to continue not to do these things but just vaguely imagine them while I watch your videos & spend the rest of my valuable time elsewhere.
I have some of these as goals in my own long-term survival world, but my list is somewhat different:
1) Complete every Achievement - I'm down to only needing 7 more
2) Collect Every Item - I just got all the Pottery Shards and Armor Trims. I'm currently just missing a few Goat Horns (although I haven't got every Enchanted Book, but I like the idea of creating a Library of Chiseled Bookshelves for this).
3) Overworld Road System - I have connected my base up to 20 villages, but there are some spots that still need improvement
4) Renovate 20 Villages - I'm still in the process of going through each of those villages and "fixing" them by making them safe, lighting them up, erecting walls, and otherwise making them proper cities for my Villager friends.
5) Get 20 End Gateways and create an End Base - I'm way behind on this one, but I keep thinking that they are going to release an End Update so I keep holding off.
6) Nether Hub/Highway system - I have a pretty established Nether path network of surface roads and tunnels, but I'm in the process of decorating some of the more used ones.
7) Build the 7 Wonders - I have a Hanging Gardens, a Great Pyramid, a Lighthouse of Alexandria, and a Temple of Triton (I built it out of an old Ocean Monument, so it felt right to change from Zeus). I'm working on a Temple of Artemis (which has been extremely difficult to just gather resources), and I'm trying to figure out how to do the Colossus of Rhodes. I might skip to Mausoleum of Halicarnassus and do something else more interesting like the Roman Coliseum instead.
8a) Build an Ancient City - Once we had Deepslate but we had no Deep Dark/Ancient Cities yet, I decided that the new cave system that generated under my base would be a perfect place to build my own Ancient City. This is mostly done
8b) Fix an Ancient City - I'm about 25% into a project to full renovate an Ancient City and remove all the Skulk and repair all the structures. Once all the Shriekers were removed, it became much easier to focus on repairing things until I ran out of Cobbled Deepslate... a project that I'll return to again one day.
9) Create a Nether in my Overworld - This one is done, complete with a Nether Spire...
10) Build a Base in Every Biome - I had fun making small bases throughout my world for a little while, but I still have a few biomes that I've never gotten around to.
Working on an 8b myself, plan to turn it into a jungle, which means I'm digging out the mountain it's under so it has natural light like an extinct volcano
@@realphillipcarter Mad respect for that one. That is a crap load of digging... Good Luck!!!
@@ninjanoodle2674 To be fair it's a seed crackedmagnet found, there's 3 massive caves so.
Top layer of mountain has lots of holes to surface and is mostly hollow, then a 25 block thick shelf
Another cave, a 20 block thick shelf (some deepslate, may strategically explode this using tnt max drop height to avoid the city)
then the city.
So only 45 blocks to mine, but, the city is about 300 by 300 blocks isn't it?
So FOUR MILLION AND FIFTY THOUSAND BLOCKS
If I do this one mountain where it is pretty hollow to begin with.
I may lose my mind. But it's good streaming content!
My goodness, I should do these! Or at least some of them. The ancient city one would be fun to do in creative!
Love these mate. Especially the villager renovations!
Fun fact....I've never beaten the dragon until a month ago...and i've had the game for years....I kinda never knew there was an ending, but the process was a hastle...it was made easier once villagers had the ability to trade.
Beating the dragon and Wither were actually extremely easier in the past.
3:52 This feels like a wrong way of building a beacon; I have never seen it build this way.
So much more satisfying though
@@toycathi toycat I love your videos
These are all very very specific ways to play minecraft, I’m glad I was never told by someone else how to play the game.
I never understood what "beat Minecraft" means. You finish the game before you get elytra or shulker boxes? Screw that.
@@tctheunbeliever My sister once told me beating minecraft means breaking every single block in the entire world and storing them neatly in chests
Then what do you stand on? Do you break the chests?
@@HungryWarden just bedrock I guess
thanks for the ideas ibxtoycat
We have a huge 1000+ X 1000+ area that took multiple people over a month to flatten and replace the surface with Stone. We call it "The Project", It is full of storage, a trading village, farms, machines, every kind of tree, flower, plant, bees, rare block exhibits, and much more. We call it "The Project"
You called shulkers "shulker boxes" and shulker boxes "shulker items" 😂
Outro joke took me a minute, the best kind, 9/10! 8:24- I believe Toycat has rickrolled me! 😯 13:53- Toycat does roleplay, an infrequent but high-quality aspect of Toycat comedy! 🤣
My creative flat world is mostly automated farms. I make them then switch to survival and use the farms to build structures.
14:10 when he leans away as "the officer" takes him away, his chair looks like Jailbot from "Superjail"
The last one is hard tho, bc for every update comes new items and blocks. Witch I guess is one reason to go back to playing it when another update comes out. But knowing about the future updates, that would be knowing that you’ll never truly 100% Minecraft.
I am loving to complete quests in Minecraft. 🙃
I start building a nether hub as soon as I have my first never portal. Everything is at y=100, and I build a grid of tunnels along x/z=-256/-128/0/128/256 etc. This way, when I arrive in the nether, I'm never far from a connection back to my base.
You left out creating a zoo with every mob in it. That and a museum of every block and item are my goals.
Ibxtoycat “personally I think of this as a late game task”
Not me over here starting my first Minecraft survival experience with a mega build and flattening the world off the bat 😂😂😂
I feel like there are even more difficult quests for java players: -Add mods -Use blockbench to make your own addition -make a texture pack
This was a fun video idea :)
Lmao, you having a massive world with a nether hub whilst I was proud of my first multi room house in survival 😂😂😂 I only ever play creative!!!
Nice. I am also proud of you son.
i relate to this too much. Only ever play creative meanwhile my brother already has netherite gear. How doe people do it this fast?!
@@ahmed4363 I know!! Been playing for 6 years yet the farthest I can get is diamond boots
You don’t need to beat the dragon to go to the end islands. You know that Andrew! Why did you say you have to beat the first quest to go to the end islands?
You have to kill the ender dragon to bring your gear and inventory back
@@tylerelmer8497end chests?
@@kieron1659 I suppose, but i find it would be easier to kill it and then be able to free roam, build bridges and whatnot
Not killing the dragon is the challenge...not killing it.
@@tylerelmer8497nless you use an ender chest
Edit: nevermind, someone else said that
Also:
- Get a Skeleton Horse (Super rare, can walk under water - bonus points get one on top of the nether)
- Get a Sus Stew farm (Get a Channelling Trident, find a Mooshroom Is and make a brown Mooshroom , make a flower farm, infinite best saturation food in the game)
I can’t believe that it’s been three years since 1.16
“you kill these shulker boxes to get shulker shells to make the actual shulker item.”
-ibxtoycat, 2023 caught in 4k giving bad names
Just like “you never have to fear 1.5 block gaps anymore”
That’s just a fence and it has no roof above it
Nice vid love from norway❤
I really enjoy making farms, but there are some bugs with trident killers (which are needed in a lot of farms) that make them break upon reloading the world. It just takes a big part of the fun for me, honestly
The “Nether Gonna Give You Up” Quest is practical!
I might do the some day!
And Why does it have to be a RickRoll Pun?!
I'm sure someone else has also pointed this out, but you can also find nether wart in bastions.
On Xbox 360 Minecraft I got every single achievement even the very last few on the update aquatic. When I sign into my 360 it shows that all the achievements are complete but when I go back and look at my game achievements now on my Xbox 1 x or series x its showing that my last few achievements for the update aquatic were never finished when they were 100 percent completed. I've even contacted Microsoft and they can't understand what I'm trying to explain to them, so they just end up hanging up on my call.
Oh, I go all-out with my Nether tunnels. Striped walls (so I can spot them), doors, windows for scenery and ghast detection, signs...it clears out chestfuls of blocks and helps me forget I'm in hell. In Minecraft.
A quest system I like the idea
Yes Minecraft does need more content
good luck collecting every possible combination of armor trim with every enchantment combination possible for each armor type
Thankyou . I subscrib
I would subscribe to this channel, in Minecraft
Does 100% include every multiply enchanted book? You can get a fortune III book and it may or may not have other enchantments on it. If 100% means you need all of those combinations too, it's just not possible imho.
I've flattened a mountain and built my mansion
I’ve been wondering if my armor enchantments were lacking thanks to this video I now know it’s not 🙏🏽
I love how he went from saying statistics to saying that he will burn your house down (in minecraft)
Number seven we got Minecraft Rick rolled 😅
Collecting every single book is insane if you need every possible combination of enchantment possible and go with the limit of 7 enchantments per book.
There are 23,242,038 possible enchantment combinations on books that contain every non-repeating permutation of 1-7 enchantments.
But wait there's more. That's just the different enchantments and not the different levels of enchantment. Over 23 million is calculated as just Unbreaking, Efficiency, Protection, etc. Those have various levels to them. There are 116 unique enchantments given the different levels available. These are also mutually exclusive making the calculation incredibly difficult at such a large scale. 116 permutations. Each of the 116 unique enchantments can make between 6,100 and 6,600 unique 2 enchantment combinations.
There are literally Billions of unique combinations of enchantments on books if you go up to 7 per book and you counting Unbreaking 1, Unbreaking 2, and Unbreaking 3 as unique for this purpose. If you don't break down the levels, you're still looking at collecting over 18 million books.
New beacon power idea,
Block spawns
As a bedrock player, building farms can be stressful, yet fun at the same time.
12:43 Hey, could someone tell me what gold farm design that is, I'm playing through the legacy console edition so I would love to have one of those seeing as there is no nether roof or portal ticking
I wish I could satisfy my completionist urges and play Minecraft like I used to but I have a necessary job, so I'll dream for now.
thats one of the best ending jokes
@15:28 couldn't you just put your elder guardian in a giant glass box way up in the sky so you don't get the mining fatigue effect?
But how do you even get it up there? In my experience, they seem to be very uncooperative
@@HungryWarden well idk how to transport them but in this case since its already contained you could just make a bubble column all the way up
3:46 Just spawn it inside of Bedrock on either version of the game and you can kill it without any combat gear
did we just got rickrolled by quest 7? lol
13:51 quick reminder: Orbital Strike Cannon is only possible on modded Java edition. Zakviel's design is too powerful even for modded Minecraft. You are not Zakviel.
15:38 now, this reminds me of GD's "450 icons + 149 coins" ultimate completion (achievements + open all chests + buy everything in shops + get all gold coins). Idk which is harder, probably GD, bc it requires you to get star rate on your level, while in Minecraft, everything depends solely on you.
If you build your nether hub at the top of the nether you don’t have to deal with mobs or build pathways.
the game never says or said or insinuates that the dragon is the last of its kind. That is up to the individual players to make their own conclusions about that part of the story. So there!!
Have YOU seen another Ender Dragon spawning naturally?
@@HungryWarden not yet. But that doesn't mean somewhere out in the vast Minecraft world of imagination there isn't other dragons. Also a future update might also bring dragons. Minecraft is up to the players to create their own fantasizes.
That being said. No I've never seen a dragon spawn natural in the game or real life
If ya Get Bored I Would Usually Get Command Blocks For Making My Own Quests. Just A Thought Tho
I’ve never killed her. Probably won’t until I’m closer to absolutely needing an elytra.
Get every color of dyed leather armor.
maxed out gear is like the very first thing i do on minecraft worlds lol i hate dying
Currently flattening my whole 256x256 legacy console portion of the world to y 64. Just coz i can really.
The nether fortress is not the only place to find nether wart you can find them in housing bastions 😅
I flattened the inside of this giant crater in a cherry grove and I’m building a village there currently
The gay potion in the thumbnail goes hard
My guy bought out the Soviet hat 😂
honestly, its a point of pride for me that i *minimize* storage. one person doesnt need a whole lot of materials unless you are actively mobilizing for a build. and since i dont build much more than a house, it never happens.
ow you finished minecraft name everyblock video
Curse of Binding on the pumpkin? 🙂
What about thorns?
Hey Andrew! Just wanna let you know, you can find netherwart in Bastions too!
I want to know how witches get there brewing supplies. They wouldn't stand a chance in the nether
You can enchant a brush with unbreaking and mending if you want to explore more trail ruins, ocean ruins and desert temples and wells ;)
My nerdy ahh reading the skyrim quests
I'm not even dedicated enough to get out of bed every morning, how can I dedicate myself to beat the Ender Dragon?
Beat the enderdragon in bed
Or with beds.
Toycat is yes
You forgot the beacon netherite quest!
Cry
8:28 rickroll
I just want to find an upgrade template
fun fact, being pregnant with eggs is called being gravid
I still haven't bothered with netherite

Im on day 5 to trying to get the silence armor trim
Hi

You forgot enchantments
Unalive dragon 😂😂😂😂😂
You forgot thorns
It was "too expensive" when trying to enchant so i just left it out 😅
I did maximum destruction before I got diamond
Lol same, I once dug out a mountain with stone tools
Talking about maximizing storage while twirling in a room with a bunch of double chests oriented in the least efficient way possible... pains me.

How did she get pregnant.... if she was the last of her species?
I think the end portals need easier access because many people, younger people don't know how to get through it
young kids probably barely even make it to the end honestly, like when i was little, all i did was build houses out of diamond blocks on creative or played on the tutorial world
