    When should you use each fan? I decided for hybrids I was going to use 3d-4d for light hybrids sets, and then 4d-6d for fuller hybrids, then volumes would be light or full with a mixer of fans ?

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  Před 3 lety +1

      That sounds like a solid plan! If usually aim for every other lash to be classic and the rest to be fans, but depending on if your client wants a fuller look or not, you can add more fans than classic and vice versa. Volume would be all fans and you can definitely mix smaller and larger fans for a fluffy look!

    Question! Im trained in classic extensions, Can I use self fanning lashes or do I need to be trained in Russian volume also what are hybrid lashes and do I need separate training for these also? Very confused hope I don’t sound dumb! Thanks in advance x

    • @akiiral5715
      @akiiral5715 Před 6 lety +1

      I am also only trained in classics but I recently purchased 3d premade fans and they are kind of nice ! Do use the 0.07 because the 0.15s are way too thick for the natural lash, also hybrids are a combination of classic and volume lashes. I start off with classics and put premade fans in the centre and towards the end. Its basically the same principle its just like the one to one process. x

    • @nepaligirl4723
      @nepaligirl4723 Před 6 lety

      You can use self fanning lashes if you know how to do it. The lash applying tecqnic is same for all extfnsion
      Hybrid lashes is mix of classic and volume extension.hybrid looks more fuller then classic extension.

    • @lorim.3697
      @lorim.3697 Před 5 lety +2

      Try looking up videos on a hybrid set on here. The effect is the volume fans give a super thick Full Base, and the added classic ones look like longer whispy lashes., it’s a really pretty combination, and most charge more for this type of set. Great when someone wants a more dramatic look than just plain classic. Your questions are ( never dumb)- I always like to see people who reach out to help, inspire, and appreciate we are All learning.😁 Happy Lashing to you!!

    Is cat eye a volume eye ?

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  Před 3 lety

      Hey! Cat eye is the shape of the lash set, meaning I'm going from shorter to longer vs. a doll eye which puts longer lengths in the center, and shorter in the inner and outer corners. You can have both a volume or classic cat eye depending on what the client wants!

    • @happyhearttv1684
      @happyhearttv1684 Před 4 lety +1

      I think it’s more so clusters that are bad premade fans should be equivalent to actually making the fan. But 6D 10D is pretty heavy. I’d stay on the lighter side

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  Před 4 lety +1

      Thank you! It can be done with a lot of practice! They lashes stay on for about 4-6 weeks before they all fall off naturally with the natural lashes. Most people get them filled or touched up every 2-3 weeks :)

  • @madisondye9122
    @madisondye9122 Před 5 lety +1

    How do I judge if the cluster will be to heavy for the lash to carry?

    • @YegiBeauty
      @YegiBeauty  Před 5 lety +1

      You don't want the base of the fan to be more than double the thickness of the client's natural lash :)

    • @charmainebriersxo
      @charmainebriersxo Před 5 lety +3

      Any volume lash shouldn’t weigh more than a standard classic eyelash extension - so if you clients lashes can only hold a 0.15 classic then using 0.07 volume lash you would use 2-3D fan , 0.05 will be 3-4D fan and 0.03 will be 5-6D fan and same goes for 0.20 and 0.25 you just divide the classic by the volume number to help you understand the size of the fan that will be suitable which can change from lash to lash in one set as every natural lash is different

      sereta smith I’m a lash artist, and most lash artists don’t use premade fans. Not even those who specialize in Russian volume. The only time I hear of premade fans is when it comes to amazing lash 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know what clusters are, and handmade fans are still more light weight, and less bulky on the lash than premade.

      samantha spicer you’re either using too much adhesive or need to slightly light the clients lid with tape to raise the lashes off of the eye pad.

    • @YegiBeauty

      Hello! Yes, I give it one final brush to make sure the lashes are sticking and any loose lashes come out! Our glues work in 30-70 degree humidity, so you don't really need the nano mister with our products!

    How do you get the natural lashes straight enough to apply that's my biggest problem 😒

    • @eyebloom__
      @eyebloom__ Před 6 lety +2

      Judy Landry from what I’ve learned you have to go in the direction of the lash.. you might be able to get the tweezers to straighten the NL as much as possible

    • @alanaandersonn
      @alanaandersonn Před 5 lety +6

      Personally I was taught that even though the natural lashes form all different directions sometimes you still have to apply the extension straight. You can't follow the same direction of the natural lash because sometimes they're crooked. At the base of the natural lash is where you apply the extension and just make sure the extension is straight at the base. Hope this helps!

      Judy -I’ve only seen a (few) tutorials show this, but the heated eyelash curlers help big time to “smooth out” and make natural lashes lay better -before applying extensions. Try it, 😁👍hope that helps

      @YegiBeauty  Před 5 lety

      Hey! Depends on what type of tray it is, and how many lashes the client has naturally! For pre-made fans I may use a few strips from a few different trays since the pre-made fans take up more space. It also depends on how many different types of fans I am using. Hopefully this makes sense!

    Why don't you make fans by yourself? This ones base is way too long and it is to heavy for natural lash. Another things is that you use to much glue, to long lashes in inner and outer corner, you don't use a map. I don't write this to be mean. I just don't understand why you teach people in this movie, when you need extend your skills 🤔
