- Video of most of the complete climb of the Hell’s Gate obstacle on the Hell’s Revenge OHV trail in Moab, UT including the descent into the obstacle from the main trail.
This obstacle is all about the line you take and listening to a spotter who knows what they are doing. This was my first time on this obstacle/trail and definitely won’t be my last. Be safe out there!
2021 Ram Power Wagon (Stock)
35” Falken Wildpeak A/T3W’s
Whoever sold this pw to you should be very proud. Finally someone who can drive owning a pw! Very good stuff there.
It's great to see a Power Wagon owner actually take the truck to its natural habitat and use it as it was intended 😎. Kudos!!!👍
Amazing what these trucks can do
I just bought a low mile (16k) used 2022 PW that the previous owner added $30,000 worth of goodies to. Carli King suspension and shocks, Lift, compressor, rear air bags, Light bar, intake, throttle response controller, roll-out bed slider, custom bead lock rims and 37's, Carli King steering dampers and diff protectors, etc. etc. Now I'm looking for an off-grid travel travel trailer to use as my base of operations to go enjoy some of these offroad experiences.
These RAM trucks are awesome😀
What a good lookin truck! So glad I have one! 😂
Same! #powerwagonnation #18PW
Same!
I have a 2022 PW - a BEAST!.
thanks for the fun video, picking up our new power wagon in a few days, yay!
Why do I feel like he took a wrong turn just trying to take out the trash and then happened to casually cruise through Hells Gate.
accurate
Wow! I just got back from Moab. I did Hells revenge in my Can Am Defender. I was to scared to even go look at Hells Gate. You the man!!
Next time! It is more intimidating to look down into than actually do.
Can am is for newbies!
good driving and doing a good job, there's proof you don't always need huge tires and mega lift's. nice truck, but i'll keep my 4runner.
4Runner is for girls, just saying
Super insane bro , mad props
Sweet👍👍

Big Boy coming through!
Wow 😮 !!!
Was just out there before Labor Day. Really wanted to do Hell's Gate, but I was alone with my F250, and I just don't trust people I don't know to spot me lol. So just ended up skipping Hell's Revenge all together.
Hella tuck tho! Great job!
That’s Nuts!
i've got a 19 that all I did was slap sliders and 35s on. i really want to get it to moab.
Was awesome doing this with you man! Maybe next time I'll take the burb up the gate. 😅
hell yeah!!
The spotters at the beginning were crap. The spotter on the climb out was epic!
Pretty sure those trash bags in the back were to hold his giant B@LLS... Beautiful truck, man!
Did you disconnect the front sway bar?
Billy 🐐 goat.
They are cool stock, even cooler with all the thuren hard parts and some 3.0s.
There are some issues with the Thuren suspension upgrades or at least there were. I don't know if they've managed to work it out yet. Personally, I'd go with a Carli system if you were looking to upgrade.
@@blackdragon44 I've ran thuren parts for almost the last decade and haven't had an issue. I know some bushings wore out early but they mailed me new ones out same day. No issues since
@@blackdragon44 running thuren with no issues. If you want to sacrifice articulation go with carli. My input.
Like Boss
Rory takes Trailmater, an old Chevy 454 wrecker through their all the time doing recovery’s towing Jeeps and other 4x4’s.
Cool story. I've also seen a drop Tacoma do it.
Not stock. It has 35s! 😉 Power Wagon doesn't care!
So it sounds like those were 35's based on the comments....if that is correc; . Does a 35 fit in the spare location too? curious to know if there is any downside to running 35's on these trucks. No rub issues that I could tell from the video.
Fits fine. When I upgraded to 37’s in the same Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws, the 37 fit in the stock location as well.
what are some mods that would improve this beast?
Wasn't there a Kia Sorento that did this?
A dropped 2wd Tacoma too. What's the point of your comment?
What front bumper is that?
stock bumper!
Not fast, but still impressive!
Did definitely isn’t a poseur 👍
What air pressure running in your tires?
This is aired down to 20 PSI all 4 corners
awesome truck, EPIC driving! But the real question is, how many times did this truck have to go back to the gas station while playing in Moab? ;-)
Surprisingly, trail driving in the PW uses less gas than I expected. Haven’t tracked MPG but it is more efficient than I would have guessed
None because Hells revenge is literally 5 minutes from town with 5 bar cell service.
A Ram truck holds more fuel than a Jeep and gets better fuel economy than 90% of all Jeeps. You can’t judge a truck by its cover, my 2004 Cummins with 4” lift and 37”s gets about 26 Highway empty weight but still gets 23.5 will full load and towing. Just wish I had automatic sway bar disconnects on mine like the power wagon, mine are manual disconnects (aftermarket).
@@rocketman3776 power wagon will get 14-15mpg of mixed driving if you are careful. The cummins is immensely more efficient but too heavy for truck.
@@SPHINX144 I'll challenge that. Highway I still pull 16mpg on 40's. That up and down hill climbs from phx to st George utah. If I was on 35's or factory I bet I get into the 20s
It's bone stock? 😮
How is it stock when those aren't even the stock tires for it
Cheeto fingers is observant!
But it has 35s. Stock it comes with 33 inch duratracs
Oh here they come. As he pushes his glasses up! Haha
Yes, stock suspension but 35” tires…its called maintenance with an upgrade! Keep wheelin
Awsome yo! Did you use front and rear lockers when going up at that steep obstacle where all those people were watching?
Yeah, I was locked front and rear going up Hell’s Gate.
@@TheWilderWagon thanx much for the fast reply. You've got a sweet truck as is. Have you seen the Powerwagon AEV Prospector XL conversion?...thats amazing!
I love the Indian luggage in the bed
I don't get it. What's fun about going so slowly? Wouldn't something like a raptor blasting through the desert be more fun? I've never done either but this seems kinda like drag racing. Fun once or twice but then kinda meh.
Haha, get behind the driver seat. I'll tell you it's an addiction. You start off getting to a remote location with great views. Next thing you know you are looking for challenges. Get on top of a mountain where few can get. Camp out and enjoy the night sky. Can't replace those moments.
More i see power wagons just own every kinda course it's an easy choice. Nissan frontier is what I'll go for.
Should have driven it to the scrapyard
