    Great video.

    Great job.👍
    Tip: if your pillow popped that's great. It taking the pressure off the pool walls when the ice forms. Also don't blow the pillow all the way only about 60% so it can expand and contract.

      I love your videos. I'm going to try to build the deck. I'm a little heavy set, and I don't trust the ladder that came with the pool.

      The deck was the best thing I ever add, I love it

    New here, Awesome set up, the deck 💯 😎🤩Great video 👏🏽 Ive never tried the ball, at my age find it easier here in zone5 just to close it in late October when it’s super clear. Way to cold for anything to grow in there. Opens really clear every year. Plus I get like an extra month or so just to sit & relax back there with nobody splashing around & No maintenance 🥹😇keep up the Great work👍🏽

      Thank you so much, I took a peek the other day it does not look like the ball did very well. Thankfully, I have a really good water well and I’ll just drain and refill instead of trying to filter out all the algae.

    This is our first year with the above ground pool. We got it about April of 2022. For the winter I did not turn off the pump (i read some comments that said don't turn of pump) or remove any of the pipes (didn't know i was suppose to.) I did cover it and put that liquid ball in there. I'm excited to uncover and get it ready. My water is not clear. It's actually very dark, almost black. That ball did nothing for my pool.

      Yep I’m having the same problem with the ball. This was the first and last season I will use it. Thankfully I have a water well so I’m going to drain and clean it before refill.

    Thanks for posting! We're in Michigan and have a 12x24x52 Intex. We've had the pool for 2 years, this would be the 3rd winter. I empty mine just below the outlets and, at times, the pool freezes to a solid block. Have you experienced this? Just wondering what the life span of the pool is under the freezing winter conditions. Thanks in advance!

    How do you keep the little black top hat plugs in the holes?

    So I have watched a few videos on this topic and I am wondering, as I live in Germany and the temperature reaches -15c or 5f in the winter where I live would this still work for me or is it too risky ? I am not sure what temperatures you or other people have had in winter for a above ground pool any advice would be appreciated ?

    • @LifeLessOrdinary
      @LifeLessOrdinary  Před rokem

      Great question. Where we live we have been thought below zero Fahrenheit temperatures for more then a day at a time. So yes ever never had any issues with dealing with extreme cold temps. Hope that helps

      @@LifeLessOrdinary OK great thanks for quick reply, It gives me a little bit more confidence to give this a try as the 5f temperature is like on the most extreme days generally the average low temperature in winter here is around 26f, I will leave some feed back if it survives the winter next year, The Intex pool I have purchased looks like the one in your video same color except its the 4,88m 16ft a little smaller

      I’m sure you will do just fine. We have very similar winter temperatures. Check out the other pool videos, I have lots of different things I’ve added to the pool. I am uncovering it this Friday to start the opening process. From what I can see the winter pill I used did not do very good. I have a lot of cleanup to do.

      @largerthanbws just below my skimmer. I plug the inlets and close the valve on my pvc
