  • The PIC18-Q24 family of microcontrollers is designed for flexibility and security in sensor-interfacing, real-time control and communication applications. For advanced code security, these MCUs offer a Programming and Debugging Interface Disable (PDID), a hardware-based security solution which blocks unauthorized access to the device and can be used to implement an immutable bootloader for securely upgrading firmware. For added flexibility, the PIC18-Q24 family offers a multi-voltage I/O interface which provides support of up to 12 GPIO pins on a separate, secondary voltage domain, eliminating the need for external level shifters, saving board space, and reducing BOM cost in your design. They also feature a 10-bit, 300 ksps ADC with computation, two zero cross detectors and fast comparators for performing fast and precise analog measurements and monitoring the AC line.
