Cauliflower Growth: Sowing Tips and Fertilization Plan

In this video clip, I have explained well-structured cauliflower sowing and fertilization plan. Here's a breakdown of my strategy for better clarity and understanding:
Sowing Method
Bed Preparation: Create a bed with a 16-inch width.
Planting: Sow the cauliflower plants on one side of the bed, keeping a 7-8 inch distance between plants to allow sufficient space for growth and air circulation.
Fertilizer Application Before Sowing
Fertilizer Quantities:
2 bags of DAP (Di-Ammonium Phosphate)
2 bags of SOP (Sulfate of Potash)
20 kg of Sulfur
3 kg of Boron
This mix will supply essential macronutrients (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium) and micronutrients (Sulfur and Boron), which are crucial for early root development and plant health.
Apply one bag Calcium ammonium nitrate plus 01 kg Boron at 4-6 leaf stage
Apply one bag Calcium ammonium nitrate plus 01 kg Boron at 35-40 Days after sowing
Apply one bag Calcium ammonium nitrate plus 1.5 kg Boron at curd development stage
Second Fertilization Plan (During Growth Stages)
At 4-6 Leaf Stage (first application):
1 bag of DAP
1 bag of SOP
10 kg of Sulfur
3 kg of Boron
This is meant to ensure the continued availability of nutrients as the plants grow.
Waste Decomposer Preparation and Application
Decomposer Preparation:
Mix 50 kg fresh FYM (Farmyard Manure), 150 liters of water, 5 kg jaggery, 5 kg mustard meal, 1 kg yogurt, 5 kg urea, and 10 kg DAP.
Let the mixture sit for 10 days to allow microbial activity to develop, which will help break down organic material, improving soil fertility.
Application Timings:
First Application: At the 4-6 leaf stage.
Second Application: 35-40 days after planting.
Third Application: During the curd development stage.
Summary
This plan ensures balanced fertilization and the use of organic decomposers to enhance soil health. The staged fertilization ensures the crop receives nutrients at critical growth stages, promoting healthier plants and better yield.
