And yes, the radio station I used to listen to in Grand Rapids played this every Friday morning.
Ahhh, loved to listen to WLAV back in the day...I loved to hear the Friday Song on Friday of course. **sigh**...I moved from one swampy peninsula to another one...
This song is one of my daily staples.Thank you for having it & for sharing it with us.I'm giving you 6 stars ****** for it.I still remember when WLAV first started playing this on Friday all those years ago.A bunch of us would get together and celebrate the coming weekend with this song.And I still do every Friday !

My wife & I live in a small house that is a converted garage.We call it The Shanty.I got my card last year.So I actually get to sit around The Shanty,and put a good buzz on.Not that I didn't before,but it sure is nice to finally be legal after all these years.

Old hippies just chillen,filling up the bong with one hitters. Just 40 years later. Friday song,campfire music. Shanty is the perfect take the edge off, on a Friday or any day for me.

As far as I know,this has been the Friday song at WLAV for many many years.Haven't lived there since 02,but I imagine it's still playing every Friday morning and evening.

I first saw JE when Rod Stewart and Faces were too tired to do a full set so they opened for 20 minutes followed by JE for 2 hours. He obviously stole th show and proved to be a heavyweight.
