Super tight small documentary of the culture youve developed and the vibe you provide. The sense of community Ive seen rebirth via DrivenAm btwn NYC and Phila appears to possibly be at the healthiest height since the inception of this incredible sound and the movements emergece from across the pond,slow and painstakingly through the ups, and downs throughout it's infectious underground inception. It's very refreshing to see the solid bench you've seemed to build with the younger fam, growing the culture. Clearly the welcoming and simple kindness/sense of acceptance youve extended exhibits that true sense of community/culture/ movement created and solidly built by you. Thanks DrivenAm/Dave/Doc!!!! Yo Whaddup Dave!? just watched this and I appreciate you and the history behind that has led us as a dnb community to where we are today. Being in the scene since 1995-1996, I know alof of hte mentioned djs and have def had some fun gettin down with them. I am from DMV so mostly DC and Bmore has been my stomping grounds but Ive def hit the proper parties of NYC over the years (its all a blur) I will make it to a DRIVEN FM party again and I will hunt you down so we can meet ;-) I appreciate this vid BOHHH
I’ve been a part of this meet up group for 2 years now and have not gotten myself out to attend an event. I must say this is probable most entirely due to myself as a 47 year old father not having any other DNB people that I associate with having mostly being because I became a part of it in the southern USA, and moved to NYC at age 33. My daughter is 6 and I know I need to start to understand that she will grow up and it’s time for me to get back to myself. Why did I even write this? I do t know maybe to motivate myself. Maybe to encourage any others in BK, Queens, or the city, even if it’s that little spot on Kingsland ave in BK. Let’s start 2024 and fucking let’s GOOO! to the next one!!!!! Old people get up. We still have energy to add and collect to and from this!!!
Glad to be a part from what I think was the beginning of Driven, keeping DnB alive even when it meant small venues due to a lack of general public interest. DnB popularity really seems to fluctuate over the years. I will never forget human carpet guy upstairs at Public Assembly.

Driven has been such a great D&B outlet and space since I've moved to NYC. Bummed I was out of town for the NYE, but will catch the next event!
