@@marianadamelio thats a beautiful technique done using the volume knob syncing with the picking on the string. He did even better on Venice Queen o nSlate Castle 2003, its beautiful.
Can also be done with pedal volume btw.
That solo from "dont forget me" its a masterpiece
RHCP's Stadium Arcadium tour had the best intro/interlude jams. Some of their best music IMO.

@@victoralves7543 nah this was definitely their prime. Jamming, singing, instrumentally and setlist-wise they were much more complete here than in the 90’s
2006 first half of the Arcadium tour is their best. The 2nd half of that tour on the other hand musically they were so good it's just something was very off hence the 3 year hiatus that followed.
1999-2004 was their prime

@@BassPlyr23yet without Anthony, they are nothing btw, the 3 have said it themselves, he may not have a better voice than John, but John also seems ro lack energy, whilst Kiedis’ voice is a 6/10 to most(to me its a 10 i love it) his energy is a 100/10, his lyrics, and style makes this band the RHCP, if it was just JF, Smith and Flea it’d be sum other name, not to take away from John, but Kiedis makes the band who they are

That’s his raddest bass for sure. Stacked knobs Jazz basses are the best bass Fender ever built, and the best bassist ever can express his style to another level on this thing.
The first bass I ever built myself was a Flea 61 bass. Everything from the vintage tuners, tortoise shell guard, and the knobs themselves make it easily my favorite to play.
@Jack Mentone dream build, Sick. It's such a shame that flea rarely plays this bass live again. i liked the '61 sound better than the Modulus or the active jazz ones.
@@fjsolossa29 it’s honestly why I keep on coming back to watch this live compared to the rest, I love it. All 4 members are at their prime performance wise.
My 61 is surf green, my favorite color, instead of Fleas shell pink. The only other difference is a maple neck, different strings and SD quarter pound pickups. You can play just about everything with it, and the blend of the 2 tone knobs is incomparable. I remember it being cheap to build but if one day I’m insanely wealthy I’m buying a genuine stack knob Fender Jazz.
Highly recommend doing it if you’re up for it!
