Useless. Absolutely useless - like all other NO3 tests on the market! If you measure NO3, you need to know if your water reached a level that is toxic to the fish. If the water has 1 mg/L or 10 mg/L - that's irrelevant! You must be able to distinguish between 50 mg/L and 100 mg/L. Or, even better, between 50 mg/L and 75 mg/L. And what does this test do? The changes of color are so tiny that if you get a reddish orange color, basically everything between 40-160 mg/L is possible. So the life of your fish depends on miniscule differences in the shades of orange or red. This is not a good test, sorry!
