Did they change the way the cymbals work? They look different. Are these 360 degree play surface like the SD 1250 cymbals?
No it’s not 360 degree
Do the crash cymbals have a choke feature? Where you can grab the cymbal to stop the sound?
Yes… a pretty standard feature…

I'm really liking this kit but I'm also interested in the Alsesis Crimon 2 SE....idk which one I should get. I like the Alesis cause the drum pads are bigger but the Simmons seems to sound better
Unless the Crimson is massively discounted it’s not worth it. 1) it’s discontinued 2) it’s older tech. I’d go with something newer

@@joekao192 That's what I keep hearing. I been seeing soooo many ads on FB Marketplace for the Strike Pro SE and the prices are very low and the kits are practically new. I'm assuming they aren't worth a damn and I aint spending that much money on poor kits

My crash cymbals are not choking is it hidden somewhere in the manual how to make this happen? I've looked in the manual and nothing. Thanks!
It’s usually only one cymbal. It’s funny because in all my years of playing I’ve never choked my cymbals so I literally forget to check for that feature.

You have to grab it just right to make it choke. Basically dead center right behind the little lip on the underside of the cymbal.
I recently bought the Titan 50, kickpad is a bit noisy but other than that it works out well in my apt!!!

It seems to be better to me. Now, I do know they’re using the same sounds but this is supposed to haven more memory.

Sir… I don’t work for Simmons. I can’t send you a file. If I recall you downloaded something you shouldn’t have. I’m not sure how that happened but… that doesn’t make the drum set a bad set.
My hi hat sound is low
You can turn it up in the module or from the app

Mostly just hearing snare sounds and not much on the toms. Kinda like ur trying to hide the true sounds of the module
