Goda was also working behind the live action. I don't know if it's true but I think oda's writing grew and he would like to add some romance or relationship between characters to give them more depth
I never saw live action as a perfect one piece in real life i saw it as a different thing with resemblance to one piece it was perfect for me as a live action character interactions are my favourite thing in a story and in this i liked it very much
