To be clear, Mr. Pavel also stated that we are a sovereign nation that doesn't do as China wishes, we have pretty close ties with Taiwan not only economically and the president of Taiwan wanted to congratulate Mr. Pavel for being elected and there's nothing wrong with that. Only another pointless escalation of relations from the Chinese perspective.
@Fureori Oh yeah thanks
i love breakthroughs.
That man is most courageous to visit Taiwan. All heads of state should visit Taiwan.
Long live the independent Republic of Taiwan!
(And may She/He Ping Pong Pooh Bear go directly to the center of the earth immediately.)
Marv, you're a great political commentator. And I really mean that!
The Taiwan issue needs to be resolved with urgency. I don't mind whether it is peaceful as long as the end result is good.
Reading the CCP Shillings in the comment section is so funny.

Not true friendship All about money
I am sorry that you think that :-( You must have been growing up in a very sad world, if friendships around you are all about money. Im from Czechia, by my experience, money is just what you can buy for them. Safety, good health, entertainment, you know - happiness. Friendship is directly important for happiness, because life is better when your are surrounded by friends. Who gives a crap about money? Its just some paper. Or even better - few pixels at the screen of your phone. Having a lot of people in your life that will help you in a time of crisis and will never hurt you even if they were to gain from that - now that is something truly valuable.
What are you talking about? We as Czech Republic could have much more money if we was more servile to communist China instead of to be partners of Republic of China (Taiwan)
@@davidpelc Most importanty we are going to lose massively if Taiwan gets destroyed by China. I believe this is something we do to make sure that China does not do the same mistake as Russia did - thinking that invasion (military one!) of Taiwan is going to just scare everyone and there will be a quick and easy wictory. I do believe that if Russia knew how strong will the Western response be, they would change their mind about bombing Ukraine. Czech republic wants to have very good relationships with China, but in our culture, China is mostly the people living and working there, and Communist party is just the "guy on top" that could actually destroy everything just like Putin did. I think we are only tryting our collective best to deter Communist party from destroying everything that we built for just one stupid island. We learned from the Ukraine invasion and wish to do things better this time. All we want is to save milions of chinesse that would certainly die on that island. We tried asking nicely and it did not work. Instead of moving away from its plans to take control of Taiwan, China is prepping its missiles and ships. So... what else is there left to do? But yes, I agree! China is a great friend. If your friend is digging himself a hole, you will try to stop him, right?
thank you for your smart statement where you have explained it all... jeeeezus...
@@michaelawoodhouse6530 that's great, I'm cheered up.
