Age gap is one of my favorite trope so you’re not crazy to love it 😄 it adds an “exotic” element to the story, I definitely prefer the guy to be older. Birthday Girl is one of my all time favorites ! I also loved Good Gone bad. I tried Hush Hush by Lucia Franco but DNFed so I am hesitating to read her Balance series
The Off Balance series was a million times better than Hush Hush!
I just read Birthday Girl and now I don't think I'm going to be able to find anything that made me as happy. Oh my GOSH

I usually HATE age gap romances, but I liked Birthday Girl! I think Penelope Douglas did a good job making it less weird. It worked for me, somehow.

Idk how I ended up here. Randomly clicked on the video and got stuck watching until the end.
I'm currently reading a Vi Keeland book (British Bedmate, downloaded for free as part of a book promotion program she recently did for her upcoming author collective with other authors). The age gap plot seems to be a common theme among her books. I am not surprised that the book on your list has a similar plot.
I also bought Birthday Girl (for free on Amazon!) but have yet to read it. It seems there a many fans of the book based on the comments so that might be my next book to read. The other books seem interesting though. I'll be sure to add it to my TBR list. Thanks!

I love your recommendations!!! My favorite taboo book is called Tears of Tess by Pepper Winters. It’s a very dark type of romance book revolving around a kidnapping but it is a great read. I definitely recommend it !! :)

I was not a fan of the truth about heart break. Maybe it’s because I’m a mom now that the whole underage thing freaked me out. If she was 18 i would’ve be like “get it girl” but I just couldn’t get past the underage aspect
You should read The Boy & His Ribbon by Pepper Winters. It’s taboo and was such a fast read and really different from anything I’ve ever read!!

If you like crazy with a dark element read Meet Me In The Dark or Taking Turns by JA Huss (any of her books honestly) Another book I love with a crazy romance is Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan, it also has a big age gap too. I've read the other Penelope Douglas books she has written and they are great too.

I would recommend Bookfunnel, Prolific Works, and book promotion websites for free books. Some of those websites send a daily newsletter on free books ($0.00) on Amazon. The other sites require to sign up to the author's newsletter in exchange for the free book. I have only downloaded free books in the past three years. I may have bought two books on Amazon in the past five years.
This is just for those who love to read books but don't have enough money to buy books or don't have the time to review books. Otherwise, support the authors and buy the books.

It's a priest story... There are lot of taboo in it...
The Truth About Tomorrow was a little too intense for me. The age gap wasn’t too bad for me. What was a little too much was how YOUNG she was when they started the relationship. I just couldn’t vibe with it. Had they kept the same age gap but start older, I’d be more open to the idea...I couldn’t handle book boyfriends vibes.
Birthday girl is an amazing book. Definelty should be put on the "should read before you die" lists. I highly recommend punk 57 also it's by penelope Douglass and its SO GOOD. Its full of angst and romance so give it a shot.
