Yeah being an umpire is not an easy job. However, I think a high powered rifle should be trained on every afl umpire during a game and if you make three mistakes...bang. Maybe that will ensure they pay attention. It would also eliminate the subtle bias towards one team, regardless of how they might think it is concealed.
