I have subs for bass. I only need mid bass and clean mids/highs with a lot of volume from my mid range speakers. In turn, the Deaf Bonce sounded better and louder to me.
I had a pair of KS series 6×9"s from Kicker and those were pretty darn good. I think they're a WAYY better choice than the CX series. I recommend saving up as long as it takes to get what you actually want rather than what you can afford now. Another option is to buy prosound drivers or home hifi replacement drivers instead of "car audio" marketed drivers. Cheaper, better, more accurate specs, but the caveat is you've gotta know a little to pick the right ones. For super low-priced midbass or woofers, Dynavox is my go-to. Buyouts at Parts Express is worth checking too.

I went with Kickers... 2 pair rear, and 2 pair NVX 6.5" components up front. Happy. Fuller sound kicker imo.
Nice video, I would probally go with the Deaf Bonce if I was running a high power system. My number 1 and 2 are Honarable mentions, JL Audio, and Flagship Alpine.

@@LIFEINSPEED That was based off my experience with Alpine SPR-174A. I threw 200w at them, but they didn't like it. For the price, they sound pretty good & I don't know if the new models perform or sound better.
As with anything, i would do something about that deck. Majority of cheap ones do not have sufficient sound processing let alone decent crossovers. In addition they tend to clip at lower volumes as well. Ive found you really want a minimal of 100w rms to properlly gauge what most car speakers can do.

I actually have the kickers in my grand Cherokee. 6x9 in the front doors and 6 3/4 in the rear doors. A crunch 1000 putting out 100 rms per channel and they sound great. if I have to take out the sub is when I can unleash the kickers all the way.
i cant fit any subwoofers in my vehicle without a lot of trouble. what 6x9's will give the best bass?

Easy to buy
Two completely different uses for these speakers. The kickers are only good for a stock speaker replacement situation. They start to fall flat in the higher frequencies as the volume is turned up. The Def Bonces are distorting the lower frequencies but come alive in the mid/high frequencies as the volume is turned up. The Def Bonces properly crossed over would definitely be a better choice if you are using a separate subwoofer.

Ya ya ya I knowmax says this n that but where's that fkn maxrun off to each time I prove him over n over lmfao.
And if we want low end of factory speakers n holes their glued into the fkn 6x9 boxes volume should be 4x internal volume n many use 10 plus cuft trunk space of air volume

During the last tests in 6x9’s you chose the 2 way Rockford. How does it compare to these two.
This is basically comparing a coaxial to a pro mid as speakers go. Of the apocalypse is going to be louder but the kicker would sound better with or without subs. The deaf bonce are for being really loud and no cutting up door panels.

2 totally different speakers for 2 totally different use ages.The Kicker is for easy listening and over all sound quality.Deaf Bonce is for a loud system with subs hints the Pro Audio tag on them.

Bro you might have just won the nostalgic crown of king. I was n have felt that I might be the last fker searching 6x9 specs to be amplified in all my gm rear decks besides my g bodies then fker 4x10s get ya in a bind once if not 4 more times there after. Best solution I ever had installed were 4 4 inch round neo magnet I think like TV speakers on steroids lol might have stole 4 out of bose cubes knowing they take decent juice ya that's more my thinking process but ya man tossed piezo tweets Al's of 4 inch mounting hole size wich I whole hackabillied lol using tweeter mount holes two each side to bolt up to base 4 in mids their cone is under 3 in if I remember correctly but the frame was 4x4 almost dead nuts so all was perfectly fkn amazing I forgot till now that there is a great home for bose garbage that honestly fkn blows till paired with piezo compression drivers lol tweets are small 1 in or less of a semi weird ridged dome.

Infinity Kappa 3 way 6x9s are clean, crisp, loud, and provide full range signal. I would recommend the New Infinity Kappa 3 ways if you're looking for all around sound and fullness.

Totally different speakers. Deaf bounce are pro audio speakers and kickers is sound quality speakers. I'm running a sub woofer in my Camaro so I don't need sound quality speakers. The pro audio speakers plays alot louder and cleaner then the sound quality speakers. I'm running a taramps 1200x4 at 2 ohm amp and the 6x9 sounds breath taking, especially with my 800 RMS 10 inch Skar audio SVR Sub in a ported box matched to the sub specifications, running at 2 ohm on taramps 800 bass 2 ohm amp. Sounds like 2 12's in the back of my 86 Iroc Z sounding like a concert.
What do you think about that taramps ds 1200x4 on those db 6x9 and some ap-m61c?

I want my music the most important part of a midrange is vocals and midbass and your yesting completely ignored and failed to play any thing that shows a conparison of how they actually sound playing music accurately. In this linited test the kickers sounded much fuller and detailed
..listening on my pc, optical to onkyo reciever dynavoice dynamite speakers, and yeah, DB sounds best. 6x9's hardly ever produces any good bass at all, just bottoms out when trying,. Get a simple sub box, maybe a active one if you are on the budget side if youre limited to 6x9's. Mids and highs is better for that form factor.
You should do the H Yanka 6x9 on an amp
