  • Venemous monsters come out at night here! You won’t believe what we found…
In this episode I go scuba diving and exploring on remote reefs in Bali, Indonesia, in search of the crazy, creepy, and potentially deadly sea creatures that come out at night. We find loads of bizarre looking creatures, from vibrant cuttlefish and bobtail squid to venemous stonefish, lionfish, and fireworms, and everything else in between.
If you’re a lover of the ocean and small things that swim (or walk, crawl, float, roll?), you don’t want to miss this one…

Thanks, bro! Trying to create a style that mixes cinematic 'blue planet' style footage with more organic, rough and ready footage. Thanks for watching 👊

I don't know where to start man. This was my favourite video of yours so far! I am in awe.
The bobtail squid was beautiful! And I loved the mantis shrimp, so cool that it has those two little "fake eyes" on it's tail. Also at 1:54 it looks like the frogfish has a siphon like squid behind it's "legs". I have never seen that before.
I loved the narration in this video, it was really well done. The camera work was on point as usual. Thank you man!! Your channel brings me such joy.

Ahh thanks so much for the feedback!! Yeh I've seen that siphon thing before - not sure what it's used for but will do some research 🤔 It's crazy how well adapted some of these species are, and I'm only just scratching the surface. I was looking at some pictures the other day of shrimps and crabs that are adapted to live within anemones/coral/sponges and they're almost invisible. Your comments bring me such joy 👊

Another really fantastic video, Barn! The cowry was fascinating but that bobtail was incredible. Making me want to get back in the water immediately.

Shell of a Tiger Cowrie? In the home of one of your older relatives? As if I'd have one of those in my spare bedroom!😉 Great photography and fascinating sea creatures - Mosaic boxer crab is incredible.

How funny 😂 I just remember when I was really young playing with them in my grandparents' house - quite strange seeing them on the reef now with a slug inside!! Thank you for your support - lots more to come :)

Haha so cool, right!! I didn't get a huge amount of time with this one but I'm sure I'll find another one soon. Does the bobtail officially get the top spot on your list of favourite species?

They sure are!! What are your plans for Amed? Let me know if you want any suggestions on dive spots. There was a bit of blood and a small cut on my hand but I think it was just a warning shot 👀 Thanks for the support 🙌
