I loved Franklin! You can't beat the Hilltop. Mr Patel is so nice and although the rooms are dated they're super clean.

Little Bear and Mama Bear are also hiking the trail through north of you. They use their umbrella in areas that they need to go the bathroom where there's not very much coverage. They pop the umbrella open to get more privacy. Thought that was a good idea

Don't let expectations sow the seeds of disappointment. Take as long as you like for as long as you want. I can't say it got easier, but I have no regrets for only doing the 1860 miles, and there were several times I had my hand on the doorknob.

Right down the hill on 340 the trail cuts across close to Harpers Ferry, WV, G/L on your journey it is tough and beautiful but you will make it.

Another great video making it real. Sharing the challenges of having fun amidst the reality of the pain. Thank you. Will be interested to see how the new shoes work for you. I recently bought the Hoka Speedgoat 5. They are super comfortable but I’ve not done a long walk in them yet.
Appreciate you.. the Hokas are comfortable but mine have already separated on the sides, so we will see how they hold up.

My morning routine would be severely disrupted without privacy. I found this Pankay privacy tent on Amazon. It would be a good 1.1 pounds for me to carry.

There is a lost dog on trail, Sadie, she is a black lab with white face, did you get any better pictures? Please contact Ramdino hiking the trail - channel, time stamps would be useful, if you think this may have been the lost dog, Thanks.
I was hoping someone else posted about lost dog, hopefully she is found.
Actually, this dog was dark brown so probably not the lost dog but I did reach out and I do hope they find their lost pup. That's so sad.

Hi there, so sorry for the delay. I'm not sure if the dog belonged to the man or not. It seemed they were together but then again the dog could have wondered up to him. We are unsure. We only passed them briefly. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
