- New YELLOW Gold Rolex Yachtmaster 42 first look. This model was the release that mostly got my attention, only because I like the white gold version so much that I thought....Why not make one in Yellow or Rose?
Now that I have it one my wrist and I able to see it in person I can say that I love it!

You are 100% correct with why its "pale" also it's so shiny your eyes can't pick up the color correctly from the reflection.
Loves the videos Eric. Personally I prefer the white gold 42 yacht master but the yellow gold will no doubt be a hit.

This watch is fire🔥🔥🔥 I had the oppurnity to try on this watch as well as all the 2022 new release from Rolex and this watch is stunning and wears perfect on my 6.5 wrist . Love it . Great video Eric

It’s a winner and just that little bit more that was needed versus the white gold. And agree, it’s hard to think about value (retained value will stay), when it’s about wearing and enjoying the timepiece above all else!

I'm a YM fan, I own the SS/PT 40mm 116622 pt dial. I'd love to see this new YG 42mm IRL. Yes, the yellow gold looks pale. Maybe they put less copper in the YG alloy to further distinguish it from the RG YM40? I like it better than the WG.

Really like the look, vibe & style of that watch! Rolex really did a great job on that one the gold & black colorway is fuckin killer , I think 42 mm suits that watch really well. Personal opinion it's a home run

So I got to handle all the new exhibition models - I was looking forward to seeing the Falcon eye but expecting to prefer the gold like you - but on the wrist - the white gold just hits - and the Falcon eye is really cool making that combo a really cool combo - you have to see a video or the Falcon eye in person - not going to be for everyone
Wish they put yellow (or maybe bright blue) text “Yachtmaster”, the same way it’s red for the 40 rose…a bit of color would make it stand out and be more sporty

True Rolex def makes all the different size watches and they all wear and fee different. My sweet spot is 40mm and sub/ gmt case.

Yea, I love the way he is talking about how this is a go anywhere do anything sports watch. That gold, not to mention the platinum bezel, would be beat to hell very quickly. This watch is no submariner…
Agreed - it’s beautiful but definitely not an everyday. Those Yachtmaster bezels are not easy to repair at all.

Eric, nice watch for sure, but I still like the 116655 40MM Rose Gold version, the rose gold is so warm looking and rose gold is not as common as the yellow gold pieces overall in the watch industry.
