Why do Thomas and Percy's faces look a little distorted in the Tidmouth Sheds scene? Also, if you look closely at Thomas' siderods at 0:57, they're not moving. I also spotted a goof at 5:06, Thomas's wheels are grey.

Ah, I remember this fun game as a kid. I still have the Thomas Sodor Celebration DVD to this day, and this takes me back to my childhood.

Because they were created in CGI in their Series 8 styles.
I caught it on my DVD the goof is on every copy of the dvd
Looking at those gray wheels at 5:06, I bet that's what would Thomas would look like if he was in William Middleton's style.
