I love your format. Very cool. I’d love to see a podcast for second career/non-traditional student age pilots. Sure, it speaks to me but I think it would speak to many others too.

GM, Andy found you on CZcams and I’m glad I did. I’m 67 retired middle school principal and have always dreamed of becoming a pilot, but for various reasons it has never materialized, but I’m not one to give up. I have enjoyed watching your videos and I’m considering the Blue line program. What sort of preparation should a person have before starting this accelerated program. I’m only looking to acquire a commercial rating. Do you think that Blue line can accommodate someone that just wants to achieve from zero to commercial rating given my age. I do hold a third class medical.

We believe Andy has already responded to your comment elsewhere, but to chime in...
We always recommend connecting with our Training Advisors for guidance on being prepared for a program as accelerated as ours. Some of the things we recommend is reading the PHAK, and completing as many written exams as possible before your start date (the written exams we are speaking of are PAR, IRA, CAX, CFI, FOI and FIA). You won't be able to pursue the airlines, but there are plenty of other career options, which our training advisors can guide you through!

This podcast has so much potential. I will say that the young lady did make it a bit difficult at times when interrupting the flow of the conversation. Nevertheless, the content is great for a current student pilot such as myself eager to hear successful stories.

I'm late to the party. Great episode Adul your testimony and advice gave me some reassurance to consider my primal inclinations to have the ability to fly. Ashley is the ultimate tension braker, relaxing the interview. I couldn't get the other gentlemen's name in the podcast that was sitting there as well. hopefully he'll get to introduce himself in the next one. looking forward to Morgan.

Hey Abdul, you’re an inspiration. Congratulations! What exactly have you done before attending Blueline?

Hi Anderson. Thank you very much! Prior to attending Blueline, i worked as an airport operations coordinator at KTEB for 4 years. I got a lot of inspiration to start my pilot career from all the interactions I had with multiple pilots and the main inspiration came from an instructor back in my college days who flew a G7500. And after a conversation from him, I started my research to find a good flight school and I found Blueline.

The so-called 1,500 hour rule was passed after the fatal Colgan Air crash in February 2009 in America
Who was the captain of the Colgan air crash?
Captain Renslow was hired in September 2005 and had accumulated 3,379 total flight hours, with 111 hours as captain on the Q400 and he was the one that flew the airplane and crashed it, not the co-pilot.

Shhhh!! Don’t bite the hand that feeds. The 1500 hr rule is what created this massive opportunity for all of us. If the FAA wants to be stupid we should let them. Even when the minimum’s were only 250 nobody was getting hired at 1500 hrs and 25 multi.

Good podcast but too interruptive and bouncing around, off-topic to every momentary mini-topic. Hard to follow, waiting to get back to the main subject "Completing the school in less than five months" (and us learning how it can be done). The title got me to watch, and the topic storm gets this comment for engagement, but im done watching.
