Congrats on 2 years. I just saw your 1 year video today too.
I got lucky at the LCS, bought 10 of the 18 OPC packs from a fresh box at only 4.5 a pack (I even told the LCS that he was giving it away at that price, but he was happy to.. which was awesome).
Split the 10 packs up with my son and he pulled a Bedard premier. All in all it would have been like 1/33 boxes to pull the card, and we got lucky with a few loose packs.
I think I'll continue to give reasonably priced loose packs out of fresh LCS hobby boxes a shot going forward, while staying away from ebay loose packs.

I personally LOVE lose packs. Not eBay lose packs, but packs from an opened box at my local card shop. Whenever I buy a hobby box, I always buy one lose pack of the same product. On christmas eve I hit big doing this! Bought a box of 23-24 artifacts, and one pack of the same. Box had some OK hits in it, but the lose pack had the regular Chicago Blackhawks redemption! Was super stoked! So was everyone in the shop, because I always open my lose pack in the store haha.
Anyway, great video bud, I been back into the hobby for 2 years now myself, and everything you said rings true.

Nice on the Blackhawks redemption! Loose packs can be a lot of fun. Doesn't mean all the things I said in my first video can't be true, but sometimes you can get a good pull! Happy collecting!

Great video. Lots of great info for new people in the hobby. I will say. If you’re selling and shipping pwe, you’re leaving yourself exposed to card damage during shipping and and eventual replacement or refund. And companies like Canada Post are starting to crack down on pwe mail that’s not lettermail and are returning packages. Bubble mailers are not that expensive and are the go to, to ensure cards arrive in the shape and condition they were sold in.

Thanks for watching. I haven’t heard of any crackdown from Canada Post or had any issues on my end shipping to Canada in PWE’s. Lots of resellers use PWE’s so bubble mailers aren’t necessarily the standard for 1-3 low end cards (see Burbanks Sports Cards, JMacs Sports Cards, 2bros). They may not be that expensive themselves but shipping USPS ground in a bubble mailer is $3.75 USD at least and you wont get it to Canada for less than $10. Buyers always have the option to contact the seller for a refund or return (if offered) if a card arrives damaged from a PWE. Just surpassed 1000 cards sold and don’t offer returns and have had probably less than 10 cases of needing to refund from PWE damage. Happy collecting!

What product did that Burnaby Joe young gun Legend come out of? I would collect those.

I can’t remember but it was during my loose hobby pack series. Just pulled from a loose eBay pack! Having that one graded..should bring a nice return if I sell. Thanks for watching.

@PuckMike Yeah those are sweet, especially when you get players whose rookie cards were released from the junk wax Era. Reminds me of the Sp Signature Edition Legends future watch cards.
