Thank you for being so vulnerable online. 🥰 I honestly thought you were just like every other person (it seems) online who effortlessly packs fruits and vegetables into their diets. I so cannot relate to those folks! As far as building discipline, I say you have to play to your strength. For myself, I have obsessive compulsive personality disorder. It's not a healthy headspace! But I know that OCPD allows me to be super rigid and go all or nothing with my goals. I KNOW "everything in moderation," but I'm like the female Samuel Johnson. Sam said, "Abstinence is as easy to me as temperance would be difficult." It's easier for me to completely cut out fast food than to eat McD's fries occasionally. And even though 99% of people on the planet see my mindset as rigid and not something that would work for them, it works for me. If I have to put up with the BS of OCPD brain every minute of the day, I might as well put it to some positive use. I also am really motivated by streaks of a habit. So, if I've gone 47 days without fast food (and I have a countdown app on my cell that I peruse daily), it becomes way less tempting to grab Taco Bell on the way home from work. And it helps to hear from people who have the habits I want to build that it's still hard sometimes. If exercising at 5am daily were easy, everyone would be doing it.

I had covid in September of last year and it caused me to be severely fatigued and short of breath. I was so active before covid and its been a long recovery. Its so hard to not be able to move your body freely without fear etc. I'm glad to hear your symptoms are subsiding! Spring feels like its going to be a fresh start for many of us!
I don’t think I’ve ever related to someone as much as you when talking about discipline and such, it’s so refreshing to see another person who is the same as yourself 😅 probably why I love your videos so much, I see so much of myself lol
Yes! We can wake up at 9am 10am and still have the best day indeed!! ❤Not everyone’s body is created to wake up at 5am. Come on(I want to say to those that promote that to all) n thanks for the smoothie recipe!!

I love the way coffee smells and taste also! It reminds me waking up in the morning when I was little and my parents in the kitchen before my Dad went to work. My Dad would let us have a small sip when my Mom had her back to us! ☕
I don’t think liking vegetables and fruit comes naturally but after eating them more and less sugar, your tastes change, and also explore and find what you like best! There’s soooo many options

One thing that helps me get to the gym when I get overwhelmed(I do the same thing where I just don’t want to do anything besides be at home on my phone) is I remind myself I know it will make me feel better if I go do that. The other thing too that I think is just as important if not more important than discipline is that you like things you’re doing or eating. It’s a lot easier to go to the gym or whether if you like what you’re doing and like being at the gym. If you don’t it’s a lot harder. Same with veggies, I’m not a veggies girl but I’ve found ways to prepare them how I like them and how to sneak them in with things I like which had made a huge difference especially on those overwhelmed days.
Yes agree! You gotta move your body/eat in ways that are enjoyable for you in order for it to be sustainable!

15:22 the three healthy habits that I’m trying to work on is drinking more water because my doctor says I am severely dehydrated. My second one is actually clearing out my social media because I definitely need to do a social media detox and the last thing is going to sleep at a decent time.

Watching your video in increments, LOL I can relate to the caffeine addiction (I had three cups of coffee today, oopsie). And as a French person, I love the taste of it LOL. The healthy habit I need to work on is to spend less time on my phone! I am so bad with that.
To drink less coffee (limit it 1-2 cups).

8:28 I just wanna say I am not a morning person at all and everybody has a different sleep circadian rhythm or sleep chronotype I’ve heard personally, I am a night owl I thrive at the night time. I actually work graveyard shift at my job and I absolutely love it and I still get up significantly early like I got up around seven 730 but I don’t understand people who get off at like 4 AM because unless you’re working like a really early job I don’t know I just can’t do it. Yes and I have to sleep either 7 1/2 hours are nine hours there’s no in between for me sometimes I can sleep for six hours but if I go to sleep at like 1 AM, I will sleep for a full like 7 to 9 hours.

On weeks when my roommate and I are extra busy, we buy pre-washed and pre-cut veggies (Costco veggie trays are great!), while sometimes it’s a bit more expensive it’s worth it in the end 😊

Would working out from home maybe be easier for you? I hate going to the gym but really like doing it from home 🤗 roll out my yoga mat, where whatever I want, and can look silly and sweaty doing song dance workouts. Finding both yoga and song dance workouts have helped me immensely
I an not a workout at home girlie, I LOVE the gym- its just getting there thats the struggle😂 My motivation is even lower at home

I have used my schools gym since transferring to university from community college. Now as an almost post grad I am considering maybe getting an alumni membership since it’s reasonable for what they offer ($40(USD)a month for a full gym with various machines, free weights, workout classes, indoor track, and a pool). I’m currently living in an regular apartment complex near campus (doesn’t have a gym) so if I end up renewing my lease when it’s up in a few months than I will decide on a gym membership or not.

I love it! I find I use it more in the winter when the weather is crummy but overall worth it!
