A great and helpful video… I had the solar one from Phlur in my basket for Sephora, but was really on the fence and hoping that you would be reviewing and now I’m taking it out and getting the Ellis Brooklyn florist which I really didn’t think I would like, but from your description it sounds really good! Getting a travel size and I think that bottle is actually really pretty too. I might check out the seven virtues one also.

I'm shocked how much I love Yum. Get this, I got a compliment at work and they asked me if I could spray less, they could actually smell it strong lol Unfortunately I don't smell it super long. Amy you gotta get your nose on Jimmy Choo Rose Passion and Miu Miu Fleur de Lait. They are so good 👍

Great video! I picked up all these in travel size as well, coconut sun was ok but the salt turned sour on me, florist was too sharp, solar power made me feel as you do about coconut sun, it’s the perfect summer non cloying fresh scent, and I haven’t had much luck with phlur scents. Actually didn’t try coral fantasy but but I’m intrigued 🤩

I just got the Yum! Last week and so far I think it’s the gourmand for me. I love how it’s not overpowering but I catch a sweet whiff of it every time I move. Also on scents that smell like vacation I tried Vilhelm Perfumerie’s Moon Carnival and I may be in love with that one and it is surprisingly long lasting! I don’t think it actually has coconut but it’s there somehow!

Update, coconut sun reminds me sol de janeiro tan lines and kayali utopia. But it really impresed me that the fragrance is parabens free, natural alcohol and the brand supports good things so.. Maybe I will buy full bottle.

I thought the exact same thing about the yum pistachio. I was so disappointed, I never saw that weird granny scent being thrown in at the end, which over powers everything. It’s a very confusing product. I was hoping to replace my cheiroisa 39 blue bottle, that is now discontinued. I think I’ll try that coconut sun next. I’m looking for a blue like fragrance from fruit and passion with a fluffy coconut scent with no heavy heady scent! It feels like too much to ask for 😢
Ya know what I just tried ? An older one Jennifer Anniston ha chapter 1 …and darn it was a nice summer lightly coconut!! Not strong enough! Darn but the coconut and the pepper i actually loved the pepper I think you would like it! It’s bordering on fresh im not sure if coconut sun would be strong enough ?

I'm noticing when I hear people talk about fragrances not lasting, they just need time to macerate. Not all fragrances but some. I had a few that i used a few times then let them sit and came back a couple of months later they were stronger.
Thanks for the coconut sun review. I’m really interested in that one. Do you think it is reminiscent in any way to guerlain’s coconut fizz? I agree with your thoughts on solar power and it’s longevity. It’s okay (done before but I can’t pinpoint it) but not long lasting one bit!
Soki's fragrance coming out is inspired by Coconut Fizz fyi. I can't wait!
I wouldn’t say it’s similar to coconut fizz because that one is so watery, fruity and to me smells like coconut water (so yummy) this one starts off really refreshing but then as it dries down the florals come through and it also gets warm as well as if the sun was hitting your skin ☀️🥰
I love 7 virtues and what their company stands for. I won’t be getting this one though because I have others that give me very similar vibes. When I run out of them I will consider this one. It’s lovely but I don’t need it right now

I enjoyed all but yum. They're pretty but they all remind me of something else. So I don't need any of them but I can see why people would love them. They are all very mass appealing.
Yum is getting worse and worse the more I wear it 😩 I sprayed it today and had to go scrub it off. 🤷🏻♀️ so far the last two kayali releases were not for me.

Coconut Sun might end up in my collection... maybe... I'm still dwindling down. Solar doesn't last in the heat here. Which is why I didn't get it. I do really like the smell though.

Does Coconut Sun lean more toward Guerlain’s Coconut Fizz or Kayali Utopia Vanilla Coco 21?
If I had to choose which way it leans more towards, it would be utopia vanilla coco but without the strong white florals and bourbon vanilla notes that utopia has (I tend to get a little nausea when bourbon vanilla is too strong and thick) the vanilla in coconut sun is much softer and creamy. Sometimes utopia comes off powdery to my nose. Coconut sun is a perfect name because I get the refreshing coconut with an airy touch but there also a warmth to it like if You were sunbathing. It’s pretty unique 🥰 coconut fizz is definitely more juicy, watery, fruity coconut (which I love so much too! 🥰)
Lately I’ve been SO interested in coral fantasy and not scared of blind buying. Except people been mentioning a weird dry drown ? Lmao do you think it smells too citrusy and musky at the end ? I love shampooey/fruity tart scents and this one seems like the right call
I don’t think it’s too musky, I find it sexy and it is a little tart but it’s the perfect amount. It didn’t turn sour or anything on my skin. I think it’s exotic and very tropical 🥰☺️ it just isn’t super fruity like L’Imperatrice, coral fantasy has a little sex appeal to it while being fruity at the same time 😉☺️
I don’t find it too musky at all and I get compliments EVERY time I wear it. No fail.

I tried the yum pistachio in Saphora, and didn’t like it too much didn’t last at all on my skin so I didn’t buy it. I was disappointed because I love pistachio, but it didn’t turn out to be anything special.
Unfortunately the last couple releases from kayali haven’t worked out for me either ☹️

Hi! Thank you 🥰❤️ I actually enjoy the hobby and it’s like therapy for me but I did freelance makeup for a few years and I enjoyed it but It’s definitely not the career for me. I love testing products and trying new techniques but working with people can be draining sometimes 😅🤣

You are like me (I’m sensitive to certain scents when the florals are too loud) then I would suggest a sample or travel first ☺️

Does coconut sun smell like alien goddess?
Hi, to me they are quite different because lust for sun is almost like an elegant summer fragrance so it has the beachy touches to it but the white florals are more pronounced. Once you get to the deep dry down is where you can get a slight similarity to goddess because the coconut and Vanilla Come through more ☺️
