    I wish Walmart in US would carry Tena tape on diapers. Been thinking about ordering some Tena slip maxi as they are simultaneously discreet and absorbent (for tape on diapers). I love the fit of Tena slip maxi.

      But the old version of the Tena Maxi plastic backed was the best! Do you know the ones I’m speaking of. If not I’ll post a picture of them.

      @@speedydiaperreviews2728 I do know which ones you are referring to. The real plastic backed ones. You can still buy them online though. I tried the Tena stretch maxi (with the belt type fit) and they were loose in the leg gathers.

    You sure know your stuff. It took me years to find the right product. When I was a teen, I used to use feminine pads for light leakage, but they leaked even after a coughing fit. I had better results with Poise pads before my incontinence progressed. Fast forward to being 31, my urogynecologist initially diagnosed me with urge incontinence, but in reality I have functional incontinence due to my disability and diminished bladder sensation after my hysterectomy. I have to wear tape up diapers because I'm almost completely bladder incontinent. You use whatever you need to maintain your dignity. Just like using mobility aids and wearing glasses, incontinence products help people live a normal life. First hand experience helped me find what works and what doesn't. Your videos are very helpful, thank you.

      Over time you slowly learned what worked and did not work. At the same time your incontinence had progressed. At any time did you feel like you didn’t want to wear protection? Or have you always viewed pads and diapers as a useful and positive tool to do the job? The only negatives I experience with the protection on is that my skin gets super irritated and dry. The skin that guys have in that area is extremely sensitive to getting, itchy,dry and rashy. Also thick diapers do not work well for me sometimes because of my hardware. Since that area is sensitive it can cause major uncomfort at times. Other than that, I really do embrace what diapers offer, to allow me to sleep better mainly.

      @speedydiaperreviews2728 I've always viewed diapers as a positive tool to help me live a normal life. Since I'm a woman, I don't experience the skin irritation or chafing, although occasionally I get the thigh chub rub from the summer heat. Most of the time I don't know when my bladder is full, so it just lets go. The diapers have saved my dignity many times. I've been incontinent for 23 plus years and can't imagine life without protection.

      @@maxgood1876 A diaper can provide a fantastic sense of security. For both the incontinent and for the OAB people. Even for me, though I’m not incontinent, the diaper provides that reassurance being there for me if my bladder needs it, in the case that a restroom is not easily accessible or nearby.

    I have bladder leakage and urge incontinence, also, occasional bowel accidents. The bowel accidents are not as bad as they used to be, though I have had a bad diarrhea for the past 3 days.. what diaper do you suggest?

    • @speedydiaperreviews2728
      @speedydiaperreviews2728  Před 10 dny +2

      For diarrhea, I used a Rearz critters caboose for when I had my super bad stomach flu. I tried not to use them but they saved me a couple of times. Mega max is also good for that type of problem. I know there is a lot more to choose from than Rearz but that’s almost all that I can get in Canada in terms of premium protection. Oh and I’ve had good luck with incontrol diapers as well.

      I use MegaMax for diarrhea. Nice tall leakguards and rear waistband keeps full BMs safely inside. They seem absorb some of the liquid and keep the solids inside.
