Thank you so much! I was having trouble with transfering the slip knot to the second needle and it was stressing me out a lot... Im gonna try this latter and see if it helps!
Genius! Absolutely genius! Thank you for showing me that!
Omg! I had to do it 5 times before I realised what I was doing wrong! 😅😅
Thank you for this video 😀
Happy to help!
Thank you for this! ❤️
Good lesson. It looks better without the knot.
Genius!!! New knitter here and love your videos 💕
this is how my mom taught me to do it! it was so difficult to remember how to do it, and I didnt wanna ask her again 😅
Wow 😯! You’re great 👍 teacher 👩🏫. I’m not good for knitting 🧶. I’ll trying do my best I can.
Great speed and explanation! Thank you!
This is super! I love your videos. So so so much info for a beginner like me!
That is so neat! Guess what I'm practicing after work lol Thank you for that excellent tutorial :)
My grandma told me that casting onto a Knitting needle is hard, so she would do it. But I never asked WHY. But when i started doing it, It wasn't bad! But when I watched this turns out I was doing it wrong the whole time. -_- This video Helped me a lot!
I love this! Thank you for sharing!
I always use this method & have never used the slip knot method.
This is a super cool technique!
Thankyou for this tutorial! I will definitely be trying this!
This is wonderful...thank you
this is super helpful! if i may ask, what yarn are you using in this video? i'd quite like to get ahold of it, it looks like such a joy to use :))
Thank you. Love this video
Okay, I get there’s no knot in the corner but how could I possibly part from my beloved slip knot?
Omor Shahid Oh, this made me laugh... so true! 💖
will it all fall apart, ha ha
@@laurabushong2974 nicely done😆
It's a dilemma😫
Thanks for this
Is the 'no slip-knot' cast-on good to use for any/all knitting patterns or any type of stitches? I've googled that question and can't find an answer for that lol Specifically I like the 'no slip-knot' long-tail cast-on, it's the first cast-on I have been able to do without any excess yarn or big loop at the end of my row, and I want to know if it is good for any pattern or stitch
Wow Like this ! ❤️👍
What kind of yarn is this? Looks very soft!
It’s Denise (‘knot’ Mark) Mitchell (we share account) I really love this technique (I’m ‘knot’ good @ slip knot) I just returned to knitting since 1980. (Puns intended)
Please with left hand
I actually really hate using the slip knot with casting on.
Ok so is there a benefit to not having a slip knot?
Hi, okay it's not related to cast on but I really want to ask something because I'm confuse, I got a pattern that stated K4 (k2tog) x 9, K12
What's that mean? Please help 😅
I'm guessing it means knit 4 stitches, then knit 2 together for the next 9, and then knit another 12.
@@altamasulkhan794 Oh thankyou
my teacher taught me this one when i first went to the knitting club in school
the slipknot is easier
😍
Is this the same as a long tail cast on?
Bhartn48 the first two stitches are different. You can start long-tail, knit-on, cable, etc after those initial two
Thank you
