Dimash won this singing contest at this venue and it got him noticed and invited to participate on The "I Am (a) Singer" show in China. A competition for professional singers. He was the first foreigner ever and wasn't expected to last more than 2 rounds. His first song was S.O.S. and stunned the competitors and the Chinese. It was watched by 600 million people and made him an overnight superstar. He went on to wow the show's audience and eventually was given 2nd place at the competition. It was political as they couldn't let a foreigner be selected as 1st place. Next year, the policy changed due to negative backlash from the Chinese people. In 2018, they brought him back to perform as an honorary guest. Dimash is a superstar now in China. This performance is a year later after his meteoric rise in fame. Only 18 years of classical (opera) training as of this performance, plus pop training also. His parents are one of each and professionals. His breath control is amazing, and you never hear him breathe unless he wants you to. I don't have a translation of this after-speech, but it seems at the end of a set or single performance he thanks the band/orchestra, the organizers, the good influence of the musical event/festival, the original song writers/performers and his dears. Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. By the way the prize was of 1,000,000.00 dollars.
Great reaction. I have heard one of the "Vocal Experts" describe Dimash as the next step in "Human Vocal Evolution". Through a combination of his physiology and years of training. His body provides him with ALL the tools and energy to sing anything he chooses. Any note, any style, any technique, ect. Most agree that that is true. But the real "magic" comes with his ability to "tell the story" of the song. Maybe it was his Classical training that taught him to "inhabit" every song he sings. Whatever the "explanation" of Dimash, I'm just glad our lifelines crossed.

He is a tenor, a bass, a baritone, a countertenor, an alto, a mezzo, a soprano and then some. He can sing all male parts, all female parts and a few dolphin parts. He is classically trained. Sings in multiple languages and has a known vocal range of 6 octaves and 5 semitones. If you really want to see his high range, react to Dimash's song called Unforgettable day Live at Gakku. Around 4:40 of the song you will think something went wrong. Nothing went wrong. It was real and what you heard was real. That is all I am going to say.
Dimash has been known to hit a D8 which is a rarity. Not only that but he can sing different keys etc. all the while still using the same breath. He knows how to control his breath sometimes doing the afore mentioned for 22-25 seconds. He sings in numerous languages, plays many instruments, and he not only sings the songs but he becomes the song. He's a master at conveying the emotions of the songs. Dimash is moving to the US at the end of this year so I’m sure you will be able to see him live in concert. He already had a sellout concert at the Barclay Centre in New York, in December 2019. His solo live concerts are amazing! They are all online on his CZcams channel. He will also be furthering his studies in the US he’s currently researching for his Doctorate in Musicology. He is classically trained since the age of 5 he has 2 degrees in Classical and Comtemporary/Jazz singing and a masters degree in Composition where he received a perfect score. This performance was from 2018, you should hear him now, He’s currently 26 years old, 27 in May 2021. He was offered a place as a Tenor in his country’s Astana Opera House but turned it down to go his own way. I do hope you will react to more of Dimash! Every performance is so different, even when you see him singing a song you’ve seen him sing before! His more recent performances of this song are just amazing! His Mother and Father are famous singers in his country. His Mom sings Opera and his Dad is a Pop singer/producer. Dimash has 2 siblings. Welcome to the world of Dimash I am 2 years in and nobody is better and he keeps surprising me!
Dimash won this singing contest at this venue and it got him noticed and invited to participate on The "I Am (a) Singer" show in China. A competition for professional singers. He was the first foreigner ever and wasn't expected to last more than 2 rounds. His first song was S.O.S. and stunned the competitors and the Chinese. It was watched by 600 million people and made him an overnight superstar. He went on to wow the show's audience and eventually was given 2nd place at the competition. It was political as they couldn't let a foreigner be selected as 1st place. Next year, the policy changed due to negative backlash from the Chinese people. In 2018, they brought him back to perform as an honorary guest. Dimash is a superstar now in China.
This performance is a year later after his meteoric rise in fame. Expressing his gratitude for what this venue allowed him to achieve. Dimash is a very down-to-earth, humble individual. Grateful to all his fans (Dears).
It would take at least four of the most talented singers from the USA singing together to come close to what Dimash can do! And they would still fall short! I have never heard a better singer in my lifetime! He is the Michelangelo of music!

His breath control is amazing, and you never hear him breathe unless he wants you to.
I don't have a translation of this after-speech, but it seems at the end of a set or single performance he thanks the band/orchestra, the organizers, the good influence of the musical event/festival, the original song writers/performers and his dears. Now he is planning to start his doctorate in Musicology. At the age of 5 years old, he said a piano was out of tune and he could reproduce notes, so their parents and teacher came to know he has absolute pitch. At the same age he won a piano contest and he used to draw himself on stage with his musical instruments. Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. Great reaction. I have heard one of the "Vocal Experts" describe Dimash as the next step in "Human Vocal Evolution". Through a combination of his physiology and years of training. His body provides him with ALL the tools and energy to sing anything he chooses. Any note, any style, any technique, ect. Most agree that that is true. But the real "magic" comes with his ability to "tell the story" of the song. Maybe it was his Classical training that taught him to "inhabit" every song he sings. Whatever the "explanation" of Dimash, I'm just glad our lifelines crossed.

I was at that concert and it was the last concert I attended before the pandemic started. It was amazing and I can't wait before I can see him again :)
You won't be listening to his music on the radio or seeing him often on Western television, but this artist's fan base is larger and more loyal than some of the most famous and international pop stars. People will fight you online if you pronounce the wrong name, your fans will spend hours watching your videos, opening fan clubs around the world and leaving long comments on CZcams with the history of each song. They are obstinate and well prepared. My question was necessary at this point. What made these people so close to him, and what does he have that other artists don't? He is a tenor, a bass, a baritone, a countertenor, an alto, a mezzo, a soprano and then some. He can sing all male parts, all female parts and a few dolphin parts. He is classically trained. Sings in multiple languages and has a known vocal range of 6 octaves and 5 semitones.

Dimash has been known to hit a D8 which is a rarity. Not only that but he can sing different keys etc. all the while still using the same breath. He knows how to control his breath sometimes doing the afore mentioned for 22-25 seconds. He sings in numerous languages, plays many instruments, and he not only sings the songs but he becomes the song. He's a master at conveying the emotions of the songs. Surprise, surprise, Dimash can also rap!

Dimash is moving to the US at the end of this year so I’m sure you will be able to see him live in concert. He already had a sellout concert at the Barclay Centre in New York, in December 2019. His solo live concerts are amazing! They are all online on his CZcams channel. He will also be furthering his studies in the US he’s currently researching for his Doctorate in Musicology. He is classically trained since the age of 5 he has 2 degrees in Classical and Comtemporary/Jazz singing and a masters degree in Composition where he received a perfect score. This performance was from 2018, you should hear him now, He’s currently 26 years old, 27 in May 2021. He was offered a place as a Tenor in his country’s Astana Opera House but turned it down to go his own way. I do hope you will react to more of Dimash! Every performance is so different, even when you see him singing a song you’ve seen him sing before! His more recent performances of this song are just amazing! His Mother and Father are famous singers in his country. His Mom sings Opera and his Dad is a Pop singer/producer. Dimash has 2 siblings. His younger sister is also a great singer but she gets very nervous on stage, so she is studying to be a Doctor. His younger brother (his youngest sibling) plays the Dombra (a traditional Kazakh instrument and sometimes plays at Dimash’s concerts. You have just witnessed the best technically trained singer in the world today. Dimash is in a league of his own. There is not another singer who can compare to this amazing young man. He is capable of singing, opera, classical, pop, folk, jazz and he can rap too. He arranges his songs to include many different genres.
