2023 Subaru Forester e-Boxer | light off-road

- Subaru Forester has symmetrical AWD, but it has no lock diferentials and as you can see, it could be the problem. In the video you can see (from time 4:18), that it doesn't always work out. There were two wheels alternately in the air (left rear and right front) and when it seemed that the electronics would brake the skidding wheel and the power could be transferred to the ones with traction, it grabbed the ground and confused the electronics. Various settings of the X-Mode system did not help either. If there is LSD, Subaru Forester will pass it.

Good video, thank you very much for sharing. It is shown that Subaru Forester has its limitations, it is not an off Road or 4×4 as it is, for example Toyota Land Cruise. That little slope could not climb.
Well, put an off road tires and it will climb that little hill in no time. Nice vid, thanks!
Because of cvt it will never climb that hill unless he uses momentum....check out forester tests...only wilderness models can climb

Not designed as an off roader really, more for on road stability and safety with the AWD setup. Most who go proper off roading don’t do it in a leased Subaru. They get older 4x4s and modify them.
Few owners will drive it more than on a dirt road, but here you can see that the car can handle more. But it has its limits and quite soon.
Should easily been able to slowly traverse that last incline,something went funky with that drive system.

there is no problkem, when you have all wheels on the ground, but there are two wheels in the air. it's good car, i like it, but it has limits. :)
I really like this car, but on the last slope why can't it pass? If the wheel touches the ground and rotates and loses grip, it is acceptable due to terrain factors, but it cannot rotate, why?

Al último no se por qué el conductor le hace sufrir al forester, si es amuy simple esa subida, sólo darle unos pequeños giros y ya está, no se...
trápí ho, protože se snaží otestovat čtyřkolku, aby věděl, co zvládne a co ne.
Ya he visto varios vídeos de este coche y tiene un problema grave con la electrónica para hacer un poco de offroad, parece como que no deja pasar de unas 2000 rpm y el coche no tiene par suficiente como para sacar el coche de algunas zonas
Ono nemá žádné uzávěrky diferenciálů, takže to všechno dělá přibrzděním kol. Ten problém na konci byl tím, že byla tři kola ve vzduchu, takže se snažilo je přibrzdit, ale protože se nakonec chytlo to jiné kolo, elektroniku to zmátlo a přestala dělat to, co původně. Kdyby byla ve vzduchu vždy ta tři původní kola a to jedno se nedotýkalo na střídačku povrchu, možná by to vyjelo. Jisté ale je, že to není auto do těžkého off-roadu, ale spíše jen někam na polní cestu.

Next time change tire for AT like falken wild peak great all-round and will be massive improvement on this gravel or snow

Yes, i tried everything- no X-MODE, X-MODE Snow/Dirt Mode and X-MODE Deep Snow/Mud Mode. Nothing helps. And why did it fail? Simple reason. Three wheels were on the ground, one in the air, so the electronics braked it in the air, the car moved, but at that moment another wheel went into the air, so it confused the electronics. And so round. If there will be LSD, there will be no problem.
