The comedy gold that just comes off so naturally from the whole crew is simply amazing. Yes, PLEASE keep this format-- NO audience! This is now my favorite late night show! Genuine joy from the staff and crew. Not the painfully forced blast of convulsive guffaws from the writing staff about their own jokes.. Thank you, James and staff!

Yes!!! There are enough people in the studio to hear the laughter and clapping so it's like they have an audience but waaaaaay better...Nick is soooo hilarious! Trying so hard to do his job and his face just keeps turning redder and redder
Audiences are so fake. They get warmed up by a comedian, they are told to laugh, it's lame. This is real.

I mean, times are changing. There no reason a late night talk show HAS to have a live audience and HAS to have a monologue. This is fantastic. I only started watching Corden during the pandemic and this and Colbert are the two that seem to be the funniest. (Colberts writers are ace)
@@EmpyreanLightASMR It was a little rough in the beginning for late night shows when the pandemic started, but I think Colbert, Kimmel and Corden have done a phenomenal job with the new forums they developed for themselves. Trevor Noah was doing well for himself as well, but he seemed to drop off and drift into the background for a bit. Anyway, stay safe and well out there ✌

ATTENTION LATE LATE SHOW CZcams MODERATOR.
I truly think the best thing to come out of the pandemic is this format of late night, and clearly so do many other people.. Sure, it's fun to have an audience, and it's fun to be in the audience. But when there is a studio audience, they have way more fun than people watching at home. Without a small group of randos in the studio, MILLIONS of people that watch this show feel special, feel included, and we all have a better time. It truly makes for a better show, and I will comment this until I know for sure it will stay this way.

As I live in the UK, and dont have sky TV, i absolutely love watching this show on yt, just wished for more. It's become my daily ritual, Tea, toast and The late late show.

I think it doesn't matter if there is or isn't an audience. I think what we are liking is the back and forth between the show's host, its band members, and stage crew, the inclusive format that evolved inadvertently as the audience was under quarantine.
But if they decide to include an audience again, that doesn't mean they will choose to discard the current format. One does not exclude the other.
In fact, I hope they do open it up to an audience presence again. If I'm ever in L.A. I'd get a kick out of attending a show!
This show is clicking on every level please don’t stop doing this. It’s absolutely hysterical when you have your audience back we understand things will change but just remember these shows right now are just awesome

This format is terrific. Also Steve, I’d love if each day the news jingle adds 2 to 3 quick notes to the song. Also the underlying little beat that he does over the first joke could run for each joke would be great

I've NEVER been on a cruise in my life and after Covid I had thought I would NEVER go on a cruise. EVER. Until now...if this happens I would actually dare to go on a cruise.

I had given up watching the show before stumbling across these clips on CZcams and now I think it's the greatest thing. It's just so engaging and fun watching everybody hang out and talk about each other and the jobs and building issues and whatever. I haven't worked in an office building in a year and this brings back the best of that in a way. I also hope it never goes back to the old format and I get a little bummed out when they segue to the monologue/news because I just the chill vibe to keep going. It calls back to when Craig Ferguson had the spot and the loose nature of that.
