This is my thought earlier after watching Grace Poe’s episode. Imagine Toni being able to have a sit down with some of the best women politicians in our lifetime.
I know Atty. Chel doesn't need a political position to help. He's been doing it all his life. But my my gosh, imagine a government full of people with brains, heart, and courage. Thank you, Atty. Chel, for everything that you are and everything that you do.
It was frustrating that a qualified man like Atty Chel Diokno was not given a chance to sit in the Senate. The Filipino people voted for the likes of Bong Revilla, Lito Lapid, Bato de la Rosa, Manny Pacquiao to run/manage the laws in our government.
With that, may the Filipinos learn from the past and correct the wrong by voting for the most desrving candidates. Atty Chel must be given the chance this time.
Just by watching this clip, you know that he deserves to be in the Senate. His reputation is clean. His image is decent. He has been helping people - especially the marginalized ones - even outside the realm of politics. He has a mind of a genius. He has a heart of gold He is a real leader in the making. The Philippine government needs this one. The Philippines needs this man. Couldn't help but cry every time I witness parents accepting their kids for who they REALLY are and wanted to be. To be honest, I was really not into politics, and Toni's guests were so unfamiliar to me BUT every time I heard their stories esp that wasn't shown in media, the moments they've spoken their hearts were the moments their soul noticeably touches ours (even if some were nonsupporters of the guest) and it was really the reason where more viewers are fond of this channel with the platform of enriching, inspiring and developing us with pure, honest and genuine stories. This video has me crying. I'm currently a Political Science student and an aspiring human rights lawyer! I personally met Atty. Chel in our Univerity for the Senatorial Debates. I tell you, this person is SO humble despite his achievements in life. He speaks with substance, and you'll know na he actually knows what he's doing. Sobrang progressive ng stances niya, at he listens to different sectors. Our country has dealt with problems embedded in our system for so long already. However, I won't lose hope. Let's continue to eradicate the usual elite and trapo politics that we see in the Philippines. NOW is the time, and it is never too late to act for social change. Politics makes the world go round, and one of the most direct and easiest way to change and challenge the system is our RIGHT TO VOTE. I just noticed na Toni really listened very well here. Sa ibang episodes, parang marami siyang sharings and all pero dito she was so eager to listen to everything Atty Chel has to say. I really admire both of them.
After this talk, I decided to support Atty. Chel Diokno. You can clearly sense his wisdom and knowledge with the way he speaks. I can also feel how genuine his heart is for the Filipinos. One of the leaders we need in our country.
