Most people in Japan are not open about deep feelings it’s not that normal or to open up to people who are not family to you.
it is not something strange... we in indonesia also like that. everyone in the classroom is knowing each other as well except our school system is not on japanese level of course.

They're literally shining. I remember in the beginning of the year there were multiple cases of chip bags in toilets and sanitary products on the ceiling of bathrooms in my school.

My high school is in Australia, and the system there sucks, like we aren't allowed to eat inside, its not very undercover when it rains, teachers don't let us stay when it rains, the school canteen is small as heck, there's no lockers (the school wasted on useless sculptures), there's no siren as well as no P.A system, also the uniforms here sucks, they r so pricey :/ Japanese school seems a lot better in my perspective hahha XD
Franime _ Japanese also has its disadvantages tho! And the uniform is also hella pricey!
ClaudiaKu well I guess the only thing I can be thankful about the system here is the education here isn't as intense in comparison to other countries, although it is somewhat pressure to get certain grades (from experience) also, if I can I would love to experience at least one day (one week, even better) life as a Japanese high school student, I just like to experience different schedules, as well as how classes run!! I really admire the Japanese culture so that would be an awesome experience :)
Oh! I went to high school in Australia too but we were allowed to stay inside when it rained and eat inside, plus we had lockers and a PA system *v*. I agree that canteens are small though, at least mine was. I guess each school in Australia has different set ups. Still would've loved to go to a Japanese high school and experience their high school life, their club activities seem like a lot of fun
I went to Indonesian private middle school. You can stay inside to eat or if it rained, but the building is so cramped for like 1200 students there. And there's only 1 gymnasium, a basketball field sized. It's really hot and humid here and most of the time the air conditioner is broken and no school staff cares about it. No lockers (only for those who paid 2x more), gross asf toilet, small sized classroom (for like 36 ppl in a class), and sometimes there's no water. Good thing there's PA system in a good shape. Uniforms aren't too pricey here, but the tuitition fee is so damn expensive (like the most expensive one in town??) and I feel it's not worth it, compared to the quality of the teachers. I mean, there are many ppl openly bribed them and the principal doesn't even care about it, because that thing only cares about money. Indonesian Curriculum sucks balls, everyone knows that. And you have to be there at 6:30AM, and most of us go back home at 5:00PM because of other courses, and if you don't take one, your grades will be sucked. Creative students aren't respected here, the ones who can be the teacher's dog and gives out the most money do.
