Being one who records whilst they work and edits in the twilight hours. I know the difficulties and how much effort goes into making these videos. Material like this is undervalued. Education has changed so much with CZcams. Society are gaining the equivalent of a CZcams plumbing degree. It's good when it's used for something positive like making individuals better engineers. Onsite experience is vital as well as real qualifications. Yet this media stream and experience passed on is helping nations strive to better engineering standards. It would have been a game changer if I had some of these videos when I initially qualified as a plumber 13 years ago. There was hardly anything like this to watch. It's great that the information is there for those that are thirsty to grow in their knowledge of the trade.

Thank you. In reality I had an old house where the 2 end pipes weren't at standard distance, even with the Z fitting supplied with Hansgrohe tap, I had to buy a pair with longer arms (that also conventiently have a shutoff valve in them). Then the 2 end pipes didn't end extend to the same distance in the tiles (old Z fittings were different from one another), so I had to get a lengthener adapter which I had to cut to size with an angle grinder. It's of different metal than the rest so the connection started to rust. When trying to place the tap, only 1 end connected at the same time, because the other end wasn't on the same axis (not parallel in any way) even if the distance was correct. With some teflon string I managed to hook into it and now it seems all good. It took 4 months (99% of that is procrastination while we only showered with hot water as the tap wasn't connected to cold, thankfully hot water temp was adjustable). What a journey xD

    Important details:
With the traditional cannula on the cam there is no likelihood of teflon turning the cam at the moment when the two battery connectors are screwed into the cams.
The German wrench (13 or 14 & 30mm) in the bending of the cams and the battery connectors on the cams is the most suitable tool for throttling.

Extremely unprofessional job. Teflon thread and hemp should not be used to install the shower faucet. If you use Teflon thread, you can't undo the cam anymore because then it leaks. Unlike hemp, Teflon has the disadvantage that it cannot be adjusted in the opposite direction. I have not seen anyone use it to assemble the battery where you need to make adjustments to the position. You have no idea what to use. If you scratch the screws when tightening them, you should use cardboard or a cloth. You should smooth the silicone with your finger.
