Every day I come across different sarees, different fabrics, every saree has its own story....Every Saree has its own fall and its own vibe!!
The Saree that I’m draping today is a masterpiece from my very favourite @taruntahiliani
I have draped the Saree in a mermaid style because there was an extra dupatta which was a part of the Saree and since she is the sister of the groom we understand there is so much running around and I didn’t want her to carry the saree in a way where her hands would be blocked….And she’s also a mother of a small little princess..
So you know when they say that, “draping main kitna hi to time lagta hain, bus do pin hi to lagana hota hai”
So let me correct you, I just feel it’s not only about adding two pins it’s about knowing the person… how often she wears the Saree, what are the rituals and how much running around she has to do….Is her role the main role for the event or is she just a guest standing and posing for her pictures....
So I think while Draping I consider all these points and then I decide on what to give!!
So I hope you all will agree with me and specially those who had a chance to be draped by me…
And yes to sum it up. I would say it was a treat to drape this beautiful lady with so much of positive vibe and energy...
And I’m so glad I could be a part of her brothers wedding...!!

My mom drapped me saree like this in my farewell... I had full blouse with material work and simple pastel colour saree ...I didnt had the pallu at both the sides but I received so many compliments almost 10 and I think it's a big thing because everyone was quiet pretty at that day ....I think full blouse is more better than cut or half because it gives more slimmer look

I know she is groom's sister but I was looking at it from bridal pov and I want to wear saree whenever I get married but I want to have the heaviness too so this saree and styling is perfect for that. For farewell and other light function simple saree would be good

This is traditional Bengali style sharee draping...it is called aathpoure style ❤❤

You get such gorgeous beautiful sarees in western, eastern and southern parts of India. This is a multicoloured handwoven saree on pure katan silk material and the left shoulder drape comes separately which the bride has probably customised as per her saree. You just need to find out such sarees at authentic saree shops, which are available in plenty all across India.

It's called sequinned multicolored saree.
I think its "AJARAK"
That's what I am looking for.
@@WhiteReclusethe design surely looks like Ajrakh but I have seen only Ajrakh prints, I don't know they have textured saree too bcz this one isn't a printed one. Probably in Gujarat region, they show now heavy saree in Azrakh pattern that are actually woven in that pattern. It's woven with texture and has heavy embroidery.
