If you never had a girl cry fake tears on ya then you might be duped into thinking these were real tears. This scene was recorded several times an the best take was this one. Actors use real pain an emotional triggers when acting. No different than a woman shedding fake tears.
What really hit home for Sheldon was when Amy told him that sometimes even she 'just tolerated' him. He finally realized that everything he is & everything he has achieved, especially the Nobel Prize was done because of his friends & wife.
I cried during this scene and I cried again rewatch this clip. Now Iâm going back to rewatch the whole thing once again from S1EI. It hold the same place as Friends in my heart.

I mean Sheldon gave a percentage of his profits from their airforce project to be put in a trust for Howard's daughter to receive a good education. Hardly the actions of a monster, Sheldon may appear to be selfish but he demonstrated kindness on multiple occasions, he even gave Penny rent money with no expectations on how soon she pay him back. Sheldon was a much better person than people give him credit for, yes he was difficult and annoying at times but he was also a great friend
I think in this episode he was actually upset with them initially. But Amy ended up having a stern talk with him, that caused him to realize how insensitive he was being, and had always been towards them.
Those were actual tears.....that was not acting....they lived like a family for 12 seasons which was about to end most gracefully.....the ending was accurate and painful.....they made us laugh all through the 12 seasons and in the end, it was big tears....i really felt a part of them too...
The perfect ending. Sheldonâs dream came true and he shared the spotlight with his friends, something he never would have done if you knew him in the earlier seasons. They all grew so much đ„č
