Good word choice. But the other thing amazing about him is when he wants to attack -- do strong, dynamic whip-cracking dancing he's also beyond compare.
anyone who isnt obsessed with taemin after seeing this video makes no sense to me. oh my god he is so hot
lol so true. I went months avoiding this video and other non-hip hop related kpop videos but then I came across a reaction of this song and instantly regretted avoiding Taemin. I'm now obsessed with him
The choreography for this song is insane! It is honestly one of my favourite choreos I've ever seen and that's saying a lot as not only kpop but dance genre has some really mind blowing ones! He encapsulated the feel and movement of the song perfectly, playing with the music itself. His control and precision he has just makes it so much better and is the main reason why he's considered one of the best dancers in the industry. He worked with Koharu Sugawara for this one (who is one of the most talented, amazing choreographers and dancers ever, you should definitely check her out!) and being someone who taem works with a lot ie. move, Flame of love (check the comment below for more) and a friend, she perfectly created a dance for want.
Thirty was not Koharu. She made Sayonara Hitori, Flame of Love, Good Evening, Move and Want

The theme of the MV is seduction/temptation. Apple (lyrics) & snakes allude to the story of Adam & Eve and the original sin. Taemin represents Lucifer in the MV. Notice the multiple cross-like symbols that appear in black (and later, red) while Taem's dancing with snake-like movements in front of them. Towards the end of the MV, the door behind Taemin is Rodin's sculpture "The Gates of Hell" which was, in turn, inspired by Dante's Inferno.
Taemin is (was?) known to be a devout Catholic, we don't know what happened to him 🙃

@@TRCReactions Symbolisms/allegories/pop culture/artwork references are actually -a very common occurence- the rule in SHINee & SHINee soloists' work: from music design to album design to MVs, even outfits, everything alludes to very specific theme(s) that the members choose depending on what they want to express for each comeback.

If you go back and look the rolls of film turn into snakes. I like to think of Taemin as a graduate of the Michael Jackson School of Dance. His moves are so controlled but they look effortless. You'll enjoy his stage performances as well.

Taemin is very influenced by MJ. He's a great singer and a great dancer, if I'm not mistaken, he's consider the # 1 in South Korea. I recommend checking other songs from him such as: Move, Thisrty, Goodbye, Danger, Pres your number ... He has very good songs. Please :)

I watched a video where he talked about the songs on the album. Apparently this song is from the "space disco" genre. I never knew there even was such a genre but my life has been enriched from finding out ☺
I saw that video too, but I had already noticed the disco moves. I grew up in the 70’s. Yeah, I don’t know what disco space is either.

You should check out "artistic groove sketchbook live" by Taemin. It's another song of this album where he created the choreo on his own. The sketchbook version has the best camera work. Man, the way he moves is so smooth
