  • If you are in Copenhagen it's easy to do a day trip to Malmo. Malmo is just across the bridge in Sweden! It's only a 30 minute drive or train ride and you can even go straight from Copenhagen airport.
    This video will walk you through how to get to Malmo by train and what to do in this Swedish city. Malmo has beautiful architecture, a lot of history, a castle, parks, and a disgusting food museum!
    If you prefer to have everything taken care of for you, you can do one of the following bus tours from Copenhagen (affiliate links):
    Malmo tour: viator.tp.st/P5nxPn7b
    Malmo and Lund tour: viator.tp.st/hLCWUVoF
    Malmo, Lund and Hamlet's Castle (this would be my choice!): viator.tp.st/wj3meOsP

    I have done this trip. The Oresund bridge is awesome. I don't like the crowd in Malmo, but the city has great architecture and history,

    I would never have though to get out one stop before Central station. This is such a great tip. I will be visiting Copenhagen next year and was looking for some day trips. This is so helpful. Thank you

    I've been to both countries but not sure I realized they were this close together!

      Yeah, there is actually a spot further north where they are even closer, but there is no bridge there, only a ferry. Either way, very easy to get from one to the other!

    Is the ticket round trip to get on any train coming back? Or do you need to buy another ticket for the way back? I’ve been to a few places where close cities give you the option to buy round trip for the day 😊

    • @growingglobalcitizens
      @growingglobalcitizens  Před 9 měsíci +2

      Yes, You can choose one way or round trip when you buy it and it’s for any train with no specified time.

    Will the Danish Krone be accepted in Malmo, or must I use Swedish currency?

    • @growingglobalcitizens
      @growingglobalcitizens  Před 5 měsíci +1

      There may be some stores there that accept Danish Krone instead of Swedish Krona. I wouldn't bother to exchange your money. I used a credit card for everything and didn't have any issues.

    All great! But the proper English pronunciation of Copenhagen is pronouncing the ‘a’ like you do in “table.”
    You could also say “Coben-haun” (like hound without the d) spelled København. 😊
