    Thank you for making these videos. I am in quarantine riding my trike with you indoors on a trainer. Riding with you keeps me company and I feel as through I went touring in London. Your efforts are appreciated. Stay well and keep the videos coming. Greetings from Alaska.

    As always I enjoy your rides. One thing I can totally identify with is the ka-thump of the bumps, the clatter of the pawls and the purr of the chain tubes. That'll be my experience early in the morning when I'm on the Catrike. It'll be near 100 F so I need to be out and back by 1030 or roast. I'll load the hydration pack with ice cubes and given my mostly English ancestry I'll wear white kit from head to toe. 😉

    I've cycled many of these same roads myself Graham, so it felt I was there with you! Stay well.

    Crystal-clear pictures! Thanks, Graham. Your streets are as empty of traffic as ours! When are you going to spend some money and get an E-Assist? You deserve it.

      Hi mate I am a bit of a luddite when it comes to e assist I always say no pain no gain, I have not felt the need for it at the moment time will tell keep safe and well

      You can still get a good workout using E-assist. My average speed has dropped to about 17 from 19 since I acquired psoriatic arthritis and I can only manage 30 km every 3 days. But I still get a good workout. Having the motor means leveling out the stops and starts and providing a smoother ride is all. Much better on aging joints.

    Graham, Great vid. I find that the chain passing thro' the chain tubes make a racket, most annoying. Could be tempted to remove the damn things. Carry on Triking, Keith.

      On the contrary, I like the "purr" of the chain tubes. It's a very distinctive sound.

    Graham, do you use a wind fairing the majority of the time? I live in Alaska and I am wondering if I should buy one for my Ice Adventure. Also, do you use your recumbent rag top in the winter? And, what brand wind fairing do you recommend? I am just getting set up for long rides. Thank you for making your videos. You are the greatest.

    • @1001Darkeyes
      @1001Darkeyes Před 4 lety

    There is a noise all the way threw this video but whats causing it ? . .sounds like it only happens when you pedal

    • @paul-hill
      @paul-hill Před 4 lety +1

      The camera is fixed to the frame of the trike and the mic is picking up the vibration of the chain running over the chainset.

    • @1001Darkeyes
      @1001Darkeyes Před 4 lety

      Its the front chain on the ring the video cam is just in front of it. no way around it I am afraid I have the camera on difrent places but this mount is the most convenient just for this sort of rid

      @@1001Darkeyes What you need is to mute the sound and play some music just when your using that camera.
