I can only guess that the design was just too "out there" for people. With the stock being featured in Chris Pratt's "Tomorrow War", you would think the stock would be much more popular. I have build another with the Gen 2 and while the Gen 2 looks a little more "normal", it's still "out there" and I get a lot of questions on the small butt pad". It's also "rifle length" and for short people like me, the length of pull is a bit long. IMHO, They should keep the Gen 1 around as the "Carbine" version and market the "Gen 2" as the "Rifle" version.
I put one of these on my AK. Once I got the right size stock spacer, I was super happy with it. Makes my AK a lot nicer. I'm left-handed so need ambi sling attachments if I want to sling it, so a standard AK stock and handguard is out. It's different and it looks mean, and provides an excellent cheek weld. Only downside is the grip is angled more sharply than most modern shooters are accustomed to.
thanks for the review. Are you aware of any other good "thumbhole" stocks for the AR15 platform? I saw the Gen 2 from HERA, but not a fan of the way it looks.
HI Carlos! Haven't been back for a couple of years. I think the last time I went was early 2022? Right before the legal troubles all came to a head out there. Have you been since it's become "Prairie Fire"?
Even with the funky rubber spring cover, I like the Gen 1 better than 2.
I just bought one of these in tan from Optics Planet. Cool stock, I don't know why they would discontinue it. Great vid.

Please how much does the stock measure from the hose ring to the rear tire?
You have that rubber piece for the safety detent spring up side down.
Thanks, but it sucked either direction.
File the end of the right side safety switch down
How have you been buddy? Have you gone back to frontsight?

Bro get control of that recoil
Not supposed to control recoil when zeroing an optic. That’s what the footage is from. Thanks for playing though.
Uh, yes... you absolutely are.
Yeah dude just let it fly off the table. That'll help you zero.
