- At the start of this five-day series, Jen Wilkin discusses how to study the Bible with both our hearts and our minds.
Jen Wilkin is a Bible teacher from Dallas, Texas. As an advocate for biblical literacy, she has organized and led studies for women in home, church, and parachurch contexts and authored multiple books, including the best seller "Women of the Word". With over 250,000 copies sold, "Women of the Word" has helped countless women with a clear and concise plan they can use every time they open their Bible. Featuring the same content as the first edition, and now with added study questions at the end of each chapter, this book equips you to engage God’s word in a way that trains your mind and transforms your heart.

This is sooo good!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much for a great guide and tips. God bless you! ☺️
Brilliant. Thank you Jen.
This was GOOD!! Thank you.
Thanks! I love your women of the word book - very impactful and to the point.
Wow this is fantastic! Thank you ❤️
This lady is AMAZING! She spoke at my Bible school, because her daughter is a teacher there!
Beautiful! Thank you
Reading this book now, and it's a complete game changer for me! 🙌🏾
Thank you dear sister!
Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for this series!
A few days ago I started to read Women of the Word, and then this comes.... the Lord is so Good and gracious! I can't tell how much Jen Wilkin's work is blessing me! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
OH man, you just made my day! The scripture journal is brilliant!
I just ordered one.
I got the audible version of Women of the Word and listen to it with a pillow speaker when my mind is racing and keeping me from sleep.
I’m super looking forward to this- I have the book and am just starting- so good.
My only feedback for this video session is in regard to the background music. While it’s lovely- it’s incredibly distracting.
Just my two cents for delivery feedback that’s all.
Bless!
I'm so excited to begin this study next week with 20 ladies from our church. Which Jen Wilkin study do you recommend after we learn her method of study? We'll start it in January.
Thanks for sharing, Jen! You should interview Matthew Kelly.
You should read Scripture front to back, Genesis to Revelation and ask God to teach you. The Bible needs to be read and understood as a whole. Also, be careful with commentaries, they CAN have good information but they arent always correct. Mike Winger is a great Bible teacher but with every teacher there may be some error, so ALWAYS test everything against Scripture.
Just started her curriculum on Exodus with a Women's Bible study at church. So thankful that this is being posted online!
Judges is great as well
So comfortable
At the beginning I enjoyed reading bible,
And then I feared too much now I’m afraid to read it
Is it possible to get these teachings in Spanish
Hello, I may have missed it but what version of the Bible are you reading from?
How do I print a book of the nkjv? I can not find a way without a lot of copy and pasting and formating, etc... help please:)
Hi,thank you so much. This is a great help to deep in studying God's Word.
May I know where i can get a copy of that Journal?
Hi Vie! You can find our Scripture Journals on our website - www.crossway.org/search/?q=Scripture+journal
Jen/Crossway….did you get the answers to these 5 questions from
The study Bible or is some of it from your extensive knowledge of the Bible?
I love the teaching, but the background music is distracting and unnecessary, IMHO. Just your words, please! 😊
Can you use highlighters in the journal or will it bleed through to the reverse side?
Hi Sherri! The paper is the heaviest paper we have in any of our Bibles and should be able to take most highlighters without any significant bleed through.
@@CrosswayBooks Fabulous! I've ordered the NT set and am eager to start studying with it.
Sherri Piechnik
You can buy the BIBLE HIGHLIGHTS from AMAZON & don't bleed through.
I bought some and I LOVE 💜 IT!!
It's the BEST EVER!! 😊🤗
Jen refers to the Five P’s for sound bible study, but must have listed them elsewhere. Can someone direct me to a link to find these Five P’s? Thank you,
The five P's are: (Study with) Purpose, Perspective, Patience, Process, and Prayer
@@sandyw.3090 if you get her book Women Of The Word she discusses the 5 P’s in more detail. I went to CZcams and typed in “Jen Wilkin” and any talks etc with her came up - listen and watch anything with her - she is the BEST!! I haven’t yet looked on TED talks but I bet there are some there of her also.
Do u have a tutorial video showing us?
Hi Anna, if you are interested in walking through how to study a passage of scripture, this video series is an excellent resource.
@@CrosswayBooks ty very much
Hello where do I get the journal from..
You can learn more and purchase that here! www.crossway.org/bibles/esv-scripture-journal-james-tpb/
The correct name for "Jewish Christian" is Messianic Jew
If you are going to start promoting women pastors, which is against biblical doctrine, then I will no longer supply you with money by purchasing your products.
Jen isn't a pastor?
@@jessicalarreau3647 Right, just change the word pastor to teacher then all will be good. You're not as clever as you wish to be.
Good Sir,
If you research Jen… you will find that she teaches women. “Women of the Word”. She encourages women to study the Bible. Not just learn what Pastor’s teach..sermonettes. She addresses women & our need to really read our bibles, study our bibles. We are so blessed to be able to have our own copies, our own brains. We can’t be spoon fed all of our lives from men. Pastors have their roles. Teachers have theirs
Run from Jen. Although she isn't designated as a pastor on The Village Church website, her activities in the church working closely with the Eldership shows she is making leadership decisions.
