For me ark is one of the games where your addicted then you die and loose all of your stuff and not play it, then you have nothing to do so you play it and get addicted again
When I die I just look back on how I could saved myself then realise there is no way back because the two carno’s just wanna chomp ya. I quit playing then get bored and start a new game or go trigger happy on raids in a server

Fun story, it was my first time playing Ark and I was playing with my girlfriend who got me into it. I had just spawned in and she was looking for me. She eventually finds me and we start going through the forest to find a good place to set up shop. Now keep in mind she’s like an expert in Ark and has played it a ton. I turned behind this group of trees and I saw a unicorn just standing there. I was like “I didn’t know there were unicorns in this game.” She goes “WAIT WHAT?!” And I’m like it’s right there. She’s like “Drop everything we’re doing we need to tame that now” we eventually ended up losing it but it was a fun experience finding the rarest creature 30 minutes into the game. I didn’t understand at the time how rare it was considering in all of her time playing she’d never seen one.

I got mine via Ragnarok, just a few paces in front of my base, was able to sneak tame it with rockarrots I was growing and lucky ghille armor finds from loot crates, I still have my boi and his name is Lucius (and I have no idea if I spelled ghille right lol)
I didn’t think they were one of a kind so I ignored it and went back to base… I then through out all of my metal and killed my giga to make a sacrifice and spawned the unicorn in.
in my 1k hours in ark i've seen every creature on this list alot, except the unicorn, i've seen it one time when i joined a random server and it was right at the first note for the noterun
When I found mine....it was being attacked by 2 sabers and a Scorpion and got killed instantly... nothing tilted me more than that in my entire playthrough
I've found the unicorn 3 times in my single player game. me knowing each time that it's just a horse skin and doesn't do anything special so it's not worth going through the trouble when there's nobody to show it off to so I just admire it for a while, take a few rainbow poops and then kill it.
I think you should’ve added the lioplerodon to the creatures you shouldn’t tame list. It may be one of the rarest creatures, but unfortunately without a doubt, one of the least worthy. You can only have him for 30 minutes and then it disappears.
I've been playing for like a week, and I've run into every single one of these multiple times on the Island except the Liopleruodon and the Unicorn. I was flying back home from Red Obby on my Argy and I flew over a Unicorn getting attacked by a Sarco, immediately picked it up and dropped it into a box and tamed it. First Equus I'd seen, too.
On a single server i spawned in, walked around for 5 mins and found a unicorn, of course i didnt tame it i had no resources but when i had alot of other tames and a base i built a trap and tamed it
2 funny storys. When i first started playing ark i was running by volcano island and i saw a giga and i went up to it thinking i needed to shove berrys up its butt. Because i had only tamed a little monkey. And the giga ate my face off. Second story It was the day after the giga destroyed my face. I found a unicorn and i thought oh well lets knock it out and then i ended up killing it.
Funny Story: Alright, so I had a Singleplayer/Non-Dedicated world on The Island, and my friends and I set up a base on Herbivore Island. I was on my back from doing something on solo, could've been creature taming or resource gathering, I forget the outer details... but I was swimming back, okay? And when everything started getting within the generation and appearing range, I swear... *Poetic description incoming*... It was as if the sky itself tore open, and God above felt a little mischevious... He took his mighty hand and materialized a Titanosaurus directly above the small island that harbored our humble stone base. Time itself slowed down as the hulking behemoth rained down from the heavens and made landfall directly onto the cliff behind the house. But in non-poetic, I saw the big bitch fall out of the sky and onto the tiny Island and I was like "...Uh... Wot?"
Rarest thing I've seen, other than a couple unicorns, was kind of a tealish-blue Ovis. Thought that was pretty cool considering they mostly spawn in shades of white, black, brown or orange
i once flew around in ark trying to get a taxidermized form of every animal for a museum type build and the anger i felt when i killed a unicorn and stuffed it just to find out on a platform it loses the horn was unreal
Honey cannot spoil naturally. Honey processed does though. Honey is one of the foods that someone in a game Elder Scrolls or The Witcher would have carried in long travels because of the sugars and healing properties (It is useful in dealing with poisons, burns, and infections. In ark, I assume they allow it to spoil so not to unbalance game play. Nevertheless, if Ark really existed, honey be the one item your party of survivors would look for most.

Dammit! I'm new to Ark, 8 days in now. But I saw the Unicorn a couple days ago. I've been back where I saw him but he's not there. maybe he was eaten and spawned somewhere else. I didn't know he was that rare.
My jaw dropped when I found out tranquilizers work on tek parasaurs. I'm still trying to move from the beach but everywhere I've been is far too dangerous. I lost my first pterodactyl and now I need a new one. They all seem really low level and they definitely are a pain to level up. Now seeing these makes me wonder when and if I'm ever going to be able to get far enough to capture them. 😮
I had a giga and I was not at my base and I was flying around on a pteranodon and I was heading back to my base and out of the corner of my eye I see my giga rage and then I see in red print "Your Rex (Rex) has been killed" and I was so mad because we had a bunch of male Rex's but the Rex that was killed was our only female Rex. So our Giga raged and me and my friend were trying to find out what happened. We left the giga at our base, he had food and he wasn't hurt, nothing was there attacking it and we were so confused and I still am confused to this day.

I think you should’ve added the lioplerodon to the creatures you shouldn’t tame list. It may be one of the rarest creatures, but unfortunately without a doubt, one of the least worthy. You can only have him for 30 minutes and then it disappears.
Disappear as in despawn or untame cuz if it’s just untame maybe you could trap it somehow and keep it then retame when you need it

I've been playing for like a week, and I've run into every single one of these multiple times on the Island except the Liopleruodon and the Unicorn. I was flying back home from Red Obby on my Argy and I flew over a Unicorn getting attacked by a Sarco, immediately picked it up and dropped it into a box and tamed it. First Equus I'd seen, too.

Funny Story: Alright, so I had a Singleplayer/Non-Dedicated world on The Island, and my friends and I set up a base on Herbivore Island. I was on my back from doing something on solo, could've been creature taming or resource gathering, I forget the outer details... but I was swimming back, okay? And when everything started getting within the generation and appearing range, I swear... *Poetic description incoming*...
It was as if the sky itself tore open, and God above felt a little mischevious... He took his mighty hand and materialized a Titanosaurus directly above the small island that harbored our humble stone base. Time itself slowed down as the hulking behemoth rained down from the heavens and made landfall directly onto the cliff behind the house.
But in non-poetic, I saw the big bitch fall out of the sky and onto the tiny Island and I was like "...Uh... Wot?"

Honey is one of the foods that someone in a game Elder Scrolls or The Witcher would have carried in long travels because of the sugars and healing properties (It is useful in dealing with poisons, burns, and infections. In ark, I assume they allow it to spoil so not to unbalance game play. Nevertheless, if Ark really existed, honey be the one item your party of survivors would look for most.

My jaw dropped when I found out tranquilizers work on tek parasaurs. I'm still trying to move from the beach but everywhere I've been is far too dangerous. I lost my first pterodactyl and now I need a new one. They all seem really low level and they definitely are a pain to level up. Now seeing these makes me wonder when and if I'm ever going to be able to get far enough to capture them. 😮

I had a giga and I was not at my base and I was flying around on a pteranodon and I was heading back to my base and out of the corner of my eye I see my giga rage and then I see in red print "Your Rex (Rex) has been killed" and I was so mad because we had a bunch of male Rex's but the Rex that was killed was our only female Rex. So our Giga raged and me and my friend were trying to find out what happened. We left the giga at our base, he had food and he wasn't hurt, nothing was there attacking it and we were so confused and I still am confused to this day.
