This video is the final one of the course on Sailing Yacht Design (navalapp.com/c...) and summarizes the theoretical concepts and practical skills students will learn.
The course is video-based, and you can follow it at your own pace.

The course has 41 lessons, 14 quizzes, and 20 downloadable documents.
During the course, the instructors will guide you through the design of a new yacht from the ground up, showing their methodology, the software they use, and explaining the design decisions and trade-offs made.
Once registered, students will have access to the course's virtual private classroom, where they will be able to interact with the course instructors and fellow students.
Students who complete the course will obtain a Certificate.

Course instructors:
- Javier has a Ph.D. in Naval Architecture. He is currently teaching topics related to hydrodynamics, including CFD, ship dynamics, fast craft, and sailing yachts at the Naval Architecture Faculty (ETSIN) in Madrid.
- Pablo has a Naval architect and Marine Engineer degree. He is currently finalizing his Ph.D. in computational fluid dynamics and numerical modeling. He also teaches hydrostatics, stability, and sailing yacht design at Madrid's Naval Architecture Faculty (ETSIN).

Hi! we don’t own a drawing software. Maxsurf is used as an example of a software in the course “Sailing Yacht Design 1” although it is not required for following the course.
