In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access the guide (in addition to our 4-part video series on Choosing the Right Stroller for your Lifestyle, and other helpful content), as well as contact us directly on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864
These materials are also available via channel membership on CZcams: www.youtube.com/@BarnevognverkstedNo/membership , and BuyMeaCoffee: buymeacoffee.com/thestrollerworkshop

Yours are easily the best, most informative stroller reviews. It’s a crime that you’re not at a higher subscribership; doing all I can for you guys on my end!

Thank you so, so much for this review. While we did jump the gun and bought the Ridge (mainly based on your reviews of the BOB and Thule vs other UPPAbaby models), we so far have been very happy with it! It's good to see that indeed it is on point on quality.
The only issue we have had is that one of the brakes was slightly bent, so it was a noisy clicking while using the stroller. After gently bending it in the opposite direction, the problem is fixed.
    Cheers!

I just bought one. 2 problems out of the box. 1- one brake was scraping the brake pad but with minor adjustments, it was fixed. 2- back wheel rims wobble are not straight.
Called customer service, they asked for a video of the wheels. Then they emailed me back telling me that they will be sending me a new set of back wheels.
And this is why you pay 600 dollars for a stroller. Customer service.

Right on. That brake system will likely need more adjustment over time, but the wheels definitely sound like a manufacturing defect. Glad the service was good, I've heard that alot about Uppababy. :)

Just bought the Ridge. How is yours holding up? I couldn't decide between a Bob and the Ridge.

@@abbieg2052 Hello. Is pretty good 👍🏻. I like it a lot. Also the bottom cargo area is big enough to fit my French Bulldog dog when she gets tired on long walks.

    Thanks for this review!
Have you heard of Guava Roam? We’re in between the two and wanted to see if this would be a possibility for you to review in the near future. Appreciate all of your content!

We don't have the Roam in Norway unfortunately, but I'll keep an eye out for it in the future. :)

I’ll say that I bought a Guava Roam in March and I absolutely love it. It folds down so much smaller than any other jogging stroller and it sits very upright which my 18 month old loves. I was deciding between the Roam and a Bob or Thule - both the Bob and Thule took up the entire trunk of my Mazda CX-5 - the Roam takes up less than half. The only thing I don’t love about it: I wish the canopy came down further, but honestly the older my daughter gets the less often she is willing to let me put the canopy down at all. I have this and a yoyo and think they are the perfect combo! (Bought the nuna triv when she was born because I wanted something that rear faced and honestly wished I had skipped it.)

How does this compare to the baby jogger city mini elite 2?

@BarnevognverkstedNo any idea why this model doesn't have front wheel suspension?

Thank you for using centimeters instead of inches

Hi, I was debating between the Uppababy Ridge and the Thule Urban Glide 2. I saw both in person at my local REI and immediately noticed the steep recline with the Urban Glide 2 even in it's most upright position. Also, the uppababy ridge has 1/2 inch more seating room where toddlers bum goes. I've decided to go with the uppababy ridge but before I purchase I want to ask you, do you think there's a way to alter the disc brake to not brake so hard? I'm not sure if it's the way the ppl put it together at REI or if this is how uppababy intended the ridge to brake but just strolling around the store when I squeezed the hand brake the stroller came to a Very hard stop. I just assumed the hand brake would come in 'handy' when running downhill but with how jerky it felt in the store, I can't imagine engaging the hand brake with a young toddler in the stroller, the ride would be incredibly jerky, perhaps someone can loosen the brakes so when squeezed it would brake less hard? I would gladly pay someone for this type of alteration, perhaps even take it to a bike shop since they seem to work on disc brakes but honestly what was uppababy thinking when they made it such a hard stop? Toddler would Never want to get in that stroller again if I ever used the hand brake, and if it can't be used regularly without resulting in a jerky motion then why include it? If this brake issue can't be addressed it would be the one reason I choose another stroller over the uppababy ridge.

I have a question that isn’t specific to this stroller. I have a 21 month old who is very tall, like me! She is about 37 inches tall (94cm) Obviously, she’s only going to get taller as she ages. What stroller would you recommend for us? Your help is greatly appreciated!

If you can get a hold of an original Baby Jogger City mini GT (smaller option) or even a City Elite (bigger option) go for it! I got those on his recommendation and they were the best so far.

Did you know the Baby Jogger City Mini 2 is also (almost) 65 cm in width which was a shocker to me. The biggest disadvantage of that model. I got caught in so many things (I live in Budapest). Still looking for the perfect one :D

No, but you're right, I checked it out after reading your comment. The wheels make it feel deceptively smaller. :)
