The Hippie Kitchen - Memory Garden with Catherine Morris

Catherine Morris along with husband and author Jeff Dietrich have headed the Los Angeles Catholic Worker now for over 40 years feeding and tending to the needy of Downtown LA's Skid Row (The Hippie Kitchen) This particular film is about several of the many souls to have lived at and with the community of the Ammon Hennacy of Hospitality. The main theme of this short story is the Memory Garden where many have had their ashes buried with a personal marker in the back garden of the 125 year old house in Boyle Heights from where they ride downtown to skid row to feed thousands each week, Let God Be Magnified!
