Your primary position is a CP and secondary position is CF. You’re going to pitch way more than hit for your whole career. I’m telling you SP is the way to go with a two way player. You hit every single game. Including being a DH in the game you pitch as a starter so you can get yourself some runs to get the win as a pitcher.
Can you switch to starting pitching? Or do I have to remake my RTTS Player? I’m a closer unfortunately, never hit man.
So the first position you want is SP. what about the second? Is there a DH option for the second? Or what’s the best for more of like a Shohei build? Sorry if this sounds crazy I’m new to MLB games lol
@@jasonpencejr5114 Primary you will choose SP and secondary you will choose your position. DH isn’t an option as a position. You will DH the days you pitch, (I chose right field). Eventually your double A coach will ask if you would like to be in the starting rotation and hit in a couple games during the week or Hit mainly and pitch ounce every week or two.

@@jasonpencejr5114 my primary is a SP and secondary is 3B cause I’ve usually always been a SS whenever I play RTTS but my arm strength is really good and as a 3B I can make good throws to 1B. You will DH the game you pitch as well as the game before and after you pitch.
Mighty just a little advice, If you choose starting pitcher you get more opportunities to hit than pitch because you get more breaks in between starts. Whereas if you choose closer you get less opportunities to hit because you only pitch one inning
@aaronhinojosa6907 he won't listen to ppl who have actually done the 2way thing before and he also doesn't know that you can make different presets for your pitcher/fielder so that he doesn't have to split his perks between pitching and hitting he has been playing these games for 10 years plus he says but he hardly knows anything about the way the game actually works like thats absurd😂😂😂😂

Awesome series so far! Sometimes It looks like you’re letting the thumb stick go during your pitch windup. It resets to the center instead of following the correct path. That may be causing your accuracy issue and causing your pitches to float down the middle. IDK?
That D'Shawn Knowles guy is in MLB the show 24 too, he is still on the trash pandas so just look him up and you can get his stance

Mighty if you want to be the two way player your describing your going to have be starting pitcher over a closer. I've tried closer and it sucks. When I am a two player I just do a starter who appears on the mound occasionally.
from experience in mlb the show 23, if you do a 2 way go as a starter because you will pitch every 5 games in the rotation and hit every other game

mighty i think being a closing pitcher is difficult because they don’t know when they will need you to come in and save so they don’t start you at cf that’s what i think could be wrong but if you want it to go by farsee don’t do a two way player if you want to bat more

For you batting stance do Ronald Acuna Jr. Or Ken Griffey Jr. Or even Mike Trout
Are you listed as a pitcher or center fielder first? Could that determine what you do more often?
If you’re looking for a good stance, I’d use Mike Napoli. He’s great for timing up pitches easier
just to add to the other people you can also wait till you get a message from your agent or coach and swith to hitting more and pitch occasionally

@MightyGoat your not hitting often because of picking the closing pitcher when your a closer you can throw pretty much every night if you only throw one inning a game and you also need to set up a pitcher and a hitter/fielder so you can put equipment on for your pitcher and also for your batter/fielder so you don't have to split your perks up between power and break or velocity with your pitcher you can use the velocity or break or whatever and with your pitcher you pick velocity and break or control you can have two different pre sets but you should have been a starting pitcher because you would only pitch once every five days and you would play your position and do on your days your not pitching being a closer you could throw every night honestly and just gonna let you know you will never hit and pitch in the same they just don't let you but picking the closer was a bad option honestly frfr and make your two different pre sets of characters one for when you pitch and one for when you hit/field just listen to me and and wont regret it pick the starting pitcher and center fielder and you will have exactly what your looking for you will even have times when your strictly a designated hitter and don't even play in the field you just bat but well see if you head the advice but I'm gonna guess you probably don't since so many ppl have recommended being a starting pitcher and whatever other position you wanted but you just had to pick the closer 😂😂😂 now your regretting it pick the starting pitcher and then your other position and you will see
You did better in the combine, before the draft, as a pitcher than as a position player. It is possible that the game/team sees you as a closing pitcher first, and a position player second. That may be why you are getting more chances to pitch than to play center.
Maybe if you made mg6th main position "center field" instead of "closer" you probably would play more center field to get more at bats...just a thought🤔
If you pick 2 way player you have to pick the pitching position first then the fielding position it doesn't matter its from him picking closer if he picked starter he would only pitch once every 5 or 6 games and would dh and play his position in between starts and dh also thats the issue

Not 100% sure but I think you’re pitching more than hitting bc you selected that as your main position. If you list CF first and closer second, I believe you’ll get more hitting opportunities.
Change your pitching stance back to what slider johnson had. Then you'll probably not give up as many runs
Ya I Would Start Over. I Remember On Other MLB The Show The Manger Would Come Too You At A Certain Point And Ask You If You would like Too Continue As A Two Way Player Or Just Pitch Once In A While
Nice my Lady Knuckleballer is already in AAA between AA & AAA She has 45 saves in 45.2 innings 55 Ks she has some nasty breaking pitches... And a 2seamer touching the low 90s .. its hilarious watching the men get gassed by a low 90s fastball and then try to hit a 59 mph knuckler shes only 5'4 and 115 pounds 😂😂
Yo I think they made two way players alternate each series between positions. Such as you hit for one series and then pitch for the next series. Could be wrong but just what I’ve seen

Try switching from velocity to control on your main skill set. It's easier to level up your velocity by pitching and training than control. Even on legend
Restart man. Looks like you can be a starter and a dh but closer and fielder don’t look like you can. Just restart and be MG6 in CF! ( Or maybe catcher?)

Restarting with a position player might be best. Pitching a lot with a two-way player is tough.
You’re getting more pitches bc you choose closing pitcher first and center field second so your primary is pitching
