omg I love how everyone here is so underwhelmed but I’m just so excited and this will be my first ND palette when it drops in the UK!!
This is genuinely the first palette that’s neutral but doesn’t have half the palette made up of crease shades that only work for fairer skin tones, or mattes that just look horrendously ashy or blend together into essentially the same colour on my skin tone, and doesn’t go the complete opposite direction by making the mattes so warm that I’m literally just blending orange onto my lids.
Genuinely the first neutral palette where I am like all of these shades will work and serve a purpose for me and my tastes !!!
Cas Q I think you will be very happy with the palette. Can’t speak for others but I have so many palettes that I takes something really really unique to get me excited. The palette is excellent quality and a great price point.

Brandi Kennedy me too! It is hard for me to wear Metropolis and Sunset. Gold is hard for me to wear at summer time and the Sunset is too orange for me.

This is a perfect palette for darker deeper skin. Nothing boring about it. I literally gasped when I opened it. I’m an artist and I need the warmer tones for darker skin. I need browns that won’t go grey and this does that for me on darker skin. I think I’m going to add to the make my own palette using biba and bronze. It would be a dream if she would make a warmer deeper version of biba!

I’m with you Mel: I would have loved a neutral bronzed small palette ( un updated small biba) but this is very very warm and a lot of the shades are just too similar to one another...

Totally agree with you. To me this wasnt the bronze palette I had hoped it to be cause it's so warmy and coppery. I keep calling it the copper palette in my head haha. I woulf have loved a more neutral brown based palette like biba's cousin! That would have been amazing!
I love this palette because it has transition shades for me. Her metropolis some of the lighter shade I have to work with because it is just too light and have to use it only on my lid I hate that lol. So I am able to make a nice neutral look with a natasha denona palette. Finally can use a whole palette! I am always in love with your looks.

@@Ang.143 girl yes!!! Because these palettes are expensive. So I give natasha 5stars for this. I swatched one time on my arm and none looked ashy. I have transition and a matte brow bone highlight that doesn't make me look crazy.

I agree with you concerning your thoughts on the palette. It's beautiful, but a lot of the shades look similar and there isn't really much variety. I also agree that looking at it, I don't get much inspiration for creating looks. Thank you so much for your review!
I've been on a "low buy" but I really want to treat myself; I'm going to pick these palettes up. I think, as a WOC with deeper skin tone, they'll be perfect 👍🏾😘

For person like me who really uses just one shimmer and one matte for an eyelook and is quite intimidated by the color story of ND so far, I absolutely love this so much! This will be my first ND palette! Great review 🥰🥰
I just ordered this from Sephora, and I’m excited to get it! I agree that it’s more of a fall palette, and that’s probably why I like it so much. Fall is my favorite, and I just get so much more inspired with my makeup during the fall. Maybe this is the palette I need to get out of my makeup rut 😂

This is my first large ND palette too. I love it! I can wear it for work which is important. I would not spend $65 on a palette with more wild shades as I would only use them on weekends.
After a massive decluttering of my collection, I’m looking for exactly this kind of shades to compliment a couple of palettes I saved, so boring it’s amazing for me too and the timing couldn’t be better😊
I think it's a GORGEOUS palette. But I'm not gonna buy it.🤣 I have all her other palettes and I do more "wild" looks like Mel. But that's the great thing about makeup, something for everyone and we're all different!!!🥰

This palette looks beautiful, but is honestly lacking a light champagne shade to pop in the inner corner/ brown bone.
Yep. It could have used a champagne shade.
I actually don't mind that since I usually use my face highlighter on the brow bone and inner corner!

I agree, this color story feels very Atumnal to me as well. But then again, most ND palettes have that feel because of the richness of the colors. Her palettes always have a slightly exotic, almost Byzantine or Morroccan vibe
It’s funny how we all react and think differently. I was excited for this palette too, because even though these shadows are all similar and all shades I probably have - they still remain shades I will wear on a regular basis. There’s a lot of palettes that I look at and love, but then realize I wouldn’t wear a lot of the shades regularly.
I think this is the perfect palette to start with if you have been in the fence to try natasha dedona eyeshadows. Perfect mix of formulas all of them in wearable shades for everyone! yes, might be boring for those few that may have all of her palettes but it's perfect for those of us who only have a few. I LOVE IT!!!
Speaking as someone that doesn't have any ND palettes and doesn't necessarily want to spend $129 for a palette, this is SO NICE and approachable! The 'Love' and the 'Sunrise' are VERY colorful and this is so beautifully neutral-ish. I want this baby! I can see why it would seem boring to someone with all the ND palettes though. Thanks for the review!

When I first saw the bronze eyeshadow palette drop, I drooled and was thinking THIS may be the Natasha Denona palette for me. Your swatches are beautiful, but the first thing I thought of when I saw them was ABH Soft Glam, which is a palette I decluttered. Obviously different formulas, but I would love to see side by side swatches...

I am 1:13 into the review and was going to post the same comment- totally ABH SG! The swatch comparison is a great idea, too.
I was thinking the same re: soft glam! However I saw smokey glow's latest video on how problematic Norvina is and it's really made me think twice about supporting ABH as a brand. Plus I love ND's formula and being able to swap the pans out with her other palettes
I think Michele Wang said that there weren’t any dupes in ABH SG.
I agree with you Mel. I passed on buying it to test out b/c I just don't need it and wasn't excited about it!
I always appreciate your honesty. As soon as I saw this one I knew I needed it in my collection. I don’t have the other bigger palettes you mentioned. I think if you don’t have those and like the color story and formula you will enjoy this one. I loved the first look I created and can’t wait to try another.
I'm totally amazed that most people are underwhelmed but I'm absolutely excited that this will be a palette that Brown girls will be able too enjoy as much as everyone enjoys Biba without having to exclude shades in the palette because they are too light. Does anybody ever stop and think of how often we have to do that??? I'm thankful and excited about this palette. That rarely happens for us. This could be a somewhat Neutral Palette for us. And I don't even care that some shades are similar to others she's done before. This palette is stunning and I'll definitely be picking it up when it launches in Sephora AU on Wednesday. The curation of the palette is gorgeous. Michele Wang called it "a study in bronze" and I am so here for it!
This palette will suit those who are not ND collectors. $65 palette with colors that i can wear everyday and get the most use out of it is what i was looking for ✌🏼 .. love the looks you’ve created 😍

Thank you for the review and application demos. Warm colors look great with your skin tone. I wish ND had created three face palettes, one each for fair, medium and deep skin tones. This one is best suited for warm-medium skin tones, IMO. I hope ND takes a cue from the obvious popularity of her mini retro and creates a midi retro along with a companion face palette, AND concurrently with an eye and face collection for deep skn tones. Fingers crossed for the fall and winter.

Thank you for your honesty, you just saved me some money. I was trying to refrain from buying it yesterday so I used my Natasha denona Metropolis palette and I was able to do a beautiful copper eye with that. So for now, I think I will hold off. At least until there is a Sephora Vib sale!

I actually have both the soft glam palette and this one.
On first glance they do look so similar BUT the ABH one has more Matts vs. ND which has more shimmers. I think that is the main difference which really makes the ABH one more of a fall palette and the ND a summer one. As she also said though, the ABH also has some of those pink tones with which you can make a berry eye, whereas this one is pure warm brown golden shades.
As a Latina, who has very dark brown eyes and get even more color when the sun is out, I find this palette PERFECT for everyday looks but also ideal to shimmer things up for the evenings ^^
I have so many bronze and gold pallets. But I still want it . I like that the cheek creams are a bit stiff. When it’s too soft it moves around . The cheek pallet is stunning.

Oooh, I have been waiting for this video from you, I have seen it from others, but wanted to see it on your skin tone. Some people are saying it works better on darker skin tone, but I really want it. I just love Natasha Denona shadows!
Her face palettes are so versatile--I love that you can use them on the eyes, lips, & obviously face. I get a lot of use out of them. So flattering on you & everyone I've seen it on & that I've used them on. Gorgeous Mel! P.S. I couldn't get the Metropolis palette yet, so this is why I'm diving in to the bronze collection & these shades are just my jam. I love her midi size! I hope she curates a true neutral palette in this size at some juncture.
Bronze is my #1 love eyeshadow shade, but i really don’t see it put together as a bronze theme.. i was initially EXTREMELY EXCITED this will be my first ever ND eye palette😟✨😟✨😟✨
Exactly, same here. I love bronze and Im aware of which undertones it may have but this palette has more golds and coppers then bronze. ND is just so repetative, each time its a wasted opportunity of what might have been a great palette...
I really haven't been into warm tones lately either but im so excited for this to come in the mail. I think it will pair well with the mattes in biba 😍 thanks for demo-ing this palette even though you wasnt interested in it mel 🖤🖤🖤
Mel, thanks for showing me that the bronze highlighter works as a check color! I thought for sure it would be too dark for me but, with a light hand, it looks really good over the cream blush.

Not everyone can wear Metropolis and Sunset Palettes. I love this one. Makeup is a matter of personal preference. :) I have Biba and they are very different palettes.

I really like this palette, you don't get a lot of looks but the brown shades look so beautiful with brown eyes, they make the eyes pop!

I think everyone is all about that JLO bronze glow look. I really love the pallet. I don’t have soft glam or biba and although I probably do have warm tones in other palettes it will be nice to have them in one place. And I love love her cheek/face palettes.

I appreciate your honesty, Mel. I feel like this is a sexier version of the Too Faced Extra Spicy Gingerbread palette. It's pretty, but I just don't reach for overly warm palettes. I loved the looks you created though.

I have been picking up so many cool and neutral toned shadows lately that my warm palettes DO need to be updated. I'm not sure this one is it though. I agree that the tones are just too similar if you take out the darks. The cheek palette on the other hand, looks amazing! Thank you!
I can see where you are coming from 100%. For me, I felt like this palette was a good opportunity for those who don’t have many Natasha Denona palettes to get my hands on these tones in her formula without the 129 price tag. But I can completely see how someone who has Biba and Sunset and Metropolis would not be excited about this one. Thanks for your honest review!

I always go for grunge and dark palettes so thankfully this won't be a repeat in my collection, I bought one for myself and one for my Grandma ^-^

Hi Mel, I have a different experience. I bought the palette and I love it. Now, I don't have a big collection of ND palettes, so I wasn't concerned about having similar colours already. In fact, for someone who doesn't have a ND collection nor will never such collection, the palette gave me a good range of shades and finishes from an expensive brand that I wanted to try.

I love the platinum but your natural brunette is 🔥 you look SOOOO Youthful!!!! I just switched from my platinum pixie, back to my natural dark brown color and was guessed at 35 years old, I am 52. So I am keeping the dark brown. Lol love you Mel !!!!
I really hope ND makes a mini that includes Rhodium and Deep Dive. After looking at your swatches and the palettes I have, those are the only ones I really want. 💙
I love this color story because I'm medium skin tone and usually palettes have too many light shades (especially light mattes) that I can't use, or look ashy on me. I feel like I can make use of all the colors here.

I was quite excited for this palette! I got it the other day and while I like it I felt like I have done the same looks with other palettes I had so it was a disappointment. You still created beautiful looks even if you were not inspired!

How does the Bronze Face Glow Palette compare to the Sculpt and Glow Face Highlighting & Contour Glow Palette?
Thank you for the cheek palette tutorial! I've been looking for a good bronze cheek blush/highlighter for a while but was on the fence about this palette as many CZcamsrs with lighter skin found it tricky to work with. But your technique yielded some amazing results!
