It's dark, powerful and my sorrowful heart like it. In there is kind of heavy grace, I think. I'd like to hear this cover in some post apocalyptic movie trailer. Or in a movie.

Some time after Lincoln Park's leading man passed, my sister was talking about what the band might do going forward. I had commented that, rather than trying to find a guy with a voice 'passable' to replace the sound of their late leading singer, they ought to go for a woman to sing lead vocals. To just outright embrace the difference (I've got a friend, she used Lincoln Park songs in auditions when she sings, and she sounds beautiful), and hearing this makes me think it even more a good idea. Have a leading lady singer, rather than attempting to find someone who sounds just like what their front singer sounded like.
PS: This was in the background of a Batman fanvid, and it is soooo haunting. I love it.
