  • this puzzle pattern was found in the SSWC magazine summer 2019. It was designed by A Klimov. Many times I find that written instructions can be hard to follow; so I am making a video to help you if you wanted to try one but thought it was too daunting.
    Additional items needed:
1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x5 1/4 inch piece of soft or medium hard wood, scroll saw, blades, drill, sandpaper, clear packing tape, glue, clear contact paper, 1/8 or 1/4 inch dowel rod and hand or electric saw for processing wood.

I have that issue and have thought about making it for one of our daughters. She is a biologist, but decided to teach 7th and 8th grade biology. Thanks for showing the steps it took! Your show was better than reading a magazine. I have so many designs that I have drawn up the last two winters, I don't know where I want to start first lol. Not counting my collection of patterns I bought or were left to me from my grandfather who did a lot of scrolling. I always enjoy your shows! Take care!

Nice job of cutting. I made this some time ago and used a Dremel to produce a rounded shape. My grandchildren loved this piece. I find that reverse tooth blades are not required when the final piece is located within the block.
I enjoy your instructive style. How do you like your Seyco?

I had 144 5r blades so that is what I choose. I agree with you that reverse tooth blades are not necessary. As for my Seyco, I really enjoy it and would recommend one!

You could try a library. I find a lot of ideas there. I can’t place the pattern here because it’s not my design.
