It's a pleasant "background noise" song. Nothing to write home about , but I think they delivered 100% at what they wanted to achieve. A SUPER radio friendly song that can be played non stop on the US airwaves (given they will have proper promotion campaigns) and turn ears and heads towards them and their music. From a fan point of view the song was underwelming but from a marketing point of view it was spot on. (same goes for "Sneakers" which was in its core an Adidas add although I did enjoy it more than the average listener and more than "Boys Like You") 👍

I always like your honest reactions. It's a simple song but it has It's fun moments. I think it's purpose was to kick off their US tour with a nice safe English language song.

This is definitely more “girl power” than “grrl power,” so as taken as the follow-up to Sneakers, I can see how many fans are doubly disappointed that Itzy’s “edge” is being dulled. That said, I found this less cloying than Sneakers and was an instant earworm for me. I love its production, free of weird staccato shifts. And especially as someone very tired of the overdone posturing attitude so prevalent in pop music (regardless of k-pop, western, or whatever), this was a breath of fresh air. It’s very “Disney Channel,” but for people of a certain disposition, that’s more a positive tickle to nostalgia than an insult.
Do I rank it highly as a representative Itzy song? Oh hell, no, but I still think it had that signature Itzy sass and confidence, diluted as it may be in the overall saccharine mixture.
