Its working but it only works with cs2(my cs2 got increase performance after follow ur steps), i mean the optimize pack, when i play other game, these games are getting lower performance cause the optimize. So i have to get to the restore point everytime i wanna play other games and run all the things in optimize pack whenever i play cs2?
Always use "balanced" power plan. Why would you want your CPU to run at high speed when not gaming? The balanced allows your CPU to run cooler when not under stress...

Ultimate/High performance only locks your CPU clock speeds to always remain as close to boost when there is no need. Why do you need 5ghz to watch a youtube video when you only need 2?? (just an example) The reason a CPU runs hotter on high performance (Not when gaming obviously, because balanced will get equally as hot), Is because it is not allowed to slow down.

make sure to exclude cs2 from pro balance and make cpu sets (think of it as a rule) all cores. you are going to want to make system process winnit.exe high priority and do the same with the cpu sets , exclude the process from pro balance. make sure your browser and any other non-system process is on idle priority.
